Get-By.com Update:

Database logs indicate many if not all of the intrusions in our pool were clean logins.

I know that isn't what anyone wants to hear -> but that is what the logs are telling us. Sad

Not brute force, Clean.

All of the passwords in our system are stored salted and hashed.
I think this community can understand what that means Smiley lol.

For this reason, we intend to institute a pool wide password reset.

I intend to make whole the account affected out my own pocket, but I can't afford to do so again Sad

I STRONGLY urge users to use a service such as http://passwordsgenerator.net/ to randomly generate strong passwords.

Further, it would be my recommendation that users use the 'anonymous' setting for their accounts to prevent scraping of usernames.

An update to the GUI the pool utilizes, requiring the use of your email address to login (as proposed in the repository) is also likely on the horizon for this same reason.

Deepest apologies and I appreciate the patience of everyone while we make this right Kiss

Smooth launch to be fair! Taken off a lot quicker than most coins.

The name is spot on! Just glad I always use different account names and passes for each pool!

GL everyone!

Change your password on all other pools ASAP if you registered on xtrapool, validerrorpool or pickaxe yesterday. One of them is a big scammer MF! and logs into other pools to cashout with same login info. My 12k DOGEs have been stolen, so better act fast.

Hey there, pickaxe.cc here. I have taken some rest and went over the logs yesterday. It seems that on the accounts that got their coins stolen valid logins took place. I honestly don't understand why someone would think I would go  trough the hassle of changing wallet addresses is the database and such when I could just transfer the entire pool wallet to myself instead. Anyway it seems that some person stored their passwords unencrypted on their pool, and then went ahead and logged into some accounts. I am truly sorry for this, but it seems to me it's quite obvious that you should use different passwords AND pin's on every pool you join. Just write them down on a piece of paper. Anyway there have been no withdraws to that address minutes after the issue was discovered. I will do what I can to make sure this does not happen again anywhere else. I will talk to the developer of PHP-MPOS to implement some additional security features. Thank you for your understanding.

If you would like to mine at a now 0% fee. Join http://www.pickaxe.cc/digi/
Payouts are manual for now so coins can't be auto-stolen. Payouts go out every minute.

Make sure you use a safe password AND a safe PIN!

I agree Digibyte sounds really great and totally unique. In addition Digibyte is the first and only altcoin represented by a mascot Digiman - looks awesomely cool.  Smiley The first in the history of alternative crypto currency. Yeah!

Anyone want to challenge Digiman?  Wink

Check this thread. I am almost 100% positive pickaxe is a scammer. He would login and transfer you're coins because if he just moeved all the wallets it would be obvious.

I got screwed by 3 different flakey assed mining sites coming out of the gate (that I won't bother naming). But LuckyMiners.com has once again proven to be rock solid and stone axe reliable. Their pool at dgb.LuckyMiners.com has finally got me going on this coin.
