There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

has anyone else experienced this problem? I can't log in for some reason, if I click 'forgot pass', it emails me a reset link, i type the password in perfectly, it says successfully reset + log in, i try and it consistently says wrong password. Cycled through this a few times, can't figure it out, although up to a week ago there wasn't a problem at all.

Clear the cookies in your browser. Just did, then tried on multiple different browsers, two different computers.. Next i'll try IE, but man this is madness!Figured it out. Doh. I was thinking my email was my login... *facepalm* |
