It is 3230 users online right now, few hours ago number was at 6000. What % of users must be affected with unusual and unwanted account behavior for situation to be considered as service security breach? I think that should be more than several nicks here. BTW, I periodically have problems with logout and see DB error as well, but I never had "Bad password" issue.

P.S. I am not choosing any side, I might be wrong as well, but I don`t believe it is exchange`s fault with stolen or lost money right now.

Deth, multiple people were breached on the 7th. While they were having a huge database issue, mail server issue, and 20,000+ guests on and passwords were being changed. I don't click shoutbox links.

EvilLizardApparel, was your password strong enough? 20,000+ guests might indicate bruteforce maybe, I don`t know. Also you could get infected anywhere and anyhow, especially if you are using windoze, java, skype and other buggy and spying software.

Dear btc-e.com Members,

Starting from 10.04.2013, customer support will be provided only through the following: http://btcecom.freshdesk.com

This is due to the fact that the majority of messages are duplicated in personal messages, icq, Skype, mail thus decreasing the efficiency of answers to your messages.

Please do not repeat your messages. This will not speed up finding a solution for your problem.

On our part, we guarantee quick and high quality answers to your questions.

Can you give me an accurate estimate on how long its going to take to resolve my issue? Ive been in the support queue for 18 hours now, #48.
Not really my definition of quick.

Why does BTC-e.com display "USE EMAIL TO LOGIN, NOT YOUR ACCOUNT NAME" atm?

Is this normal?

I did not verify E-Mail. Only have very few LTC there.

Even if I could login I would not do it at the moment.
Maybe I'm paranoid: But could the site been hacked/defaced to obtain E-Mail addresses?

Same here, posted a while ago.

Still the same. BTC-E, When or are you going to change the fees?

Did login now. E-Mail did work.

My account has been wiped for almost all LTC!  Shocked Angry

Marked as "payment for a warrent" only few minutes after my last login on April 8th.

WTF!!!

E-mail verification did not work. Did not accept IP for strange reasons.

Now trying to login just opens a blank page.

 Huh  Angry

Edit: Now login works again. But LTC wiped.

Edit:

I did have a pending sell order which was not executed. My fault.

BTC-e response was swift.

Oh my god. To get support service now, you need to register with btcecom.freshdesk.com.

I use

Code:

in my adblockplus addon to block unencrypted content. I use

Code:

to block all unencrypted content on all https enabled sites that I use.

Warning to all:

Google recaptcha breaks encryption on btcecom.freshdesk.com, exposing your email and password over online.

To use google recaptcha, my http blocking code must be disabled, I refuse to register @ btcecom.freshdesk.com until this is fixed.

This is completely unexceptionable.

No wonder account are being hacked, probably because of this new bs helpdesk crap with broken encryption over online.

The fees and now this.

I paid my .5 and withdrawn my ltc from btc-e.com. I suggest you all do the same, pull out now before its too late.

Why don't you use google/facebook/twitter login? You don't need to register a new account there

Disagree strongly.

There's so many of these threads popping up I started one to unify them all.
I'm not trying to slander or bash anyone here, but we all deserve an explanation how our accounts were breached and money stolen.
