Finally everything starts to stabilize now with the increased difficulty
Yes, noticeable. Calming down. Less rejects. And less payout.
Is this the fastest coin that has ever been tried?
Then an initial 7000 blocks chaos would not be too bad in the end.
Algorithm: Scrypt
That seems ... true.
60 second block time
.... not .... aeehhh .... quite. It was rather ... hmmm ....
1 per second?I call this coin Warpcoin :-)
Welcome to the USDe Enterprise, with Warpcoin engine.2-hour block difficulty re-target
Does that mean in real time ( then every 2*60*60/4.41 = 1633 blocks)
or does that mean 2*60*60/60 = every 120 blocks there is a difficulty retarget ?
At the moment the latter would mean every approx 2*4.4 = 9 minutes - has anyone observed closer?
5 confirmations per transaction
sorry, haven't really had the chance to use this as a currency :-)
But hey - who wants to exchange a few coins so that we can see if it does eventually work as a means of value transfer?
If yes, then let's use it. The time until confirmation is mindboggling :-)
In the end, a coin is not only there to make miners happy or pumpndumpers, it doesn't even have to behave like all of the other coins.
This coinbirth was violent, several times it almost died, for sure. But if the coin is now able to reliably communicate between wallets, it could be called "alive", no?
120 confirmation mined block maturity
Why do mining pools require 120 confirms for a solved block before payout?hmmmm .... what do I want to think about this, now that I am here, anyway. I could have left hours ago, but something about this child is fascinating :-)
at block 7723
the difficulty was 0.25 and the
networkshashps 243111356
With 243 Megahash at difficulty 0.25 it takes 0.25 * 2^32 / 243111356 = 4.41 seconds
This network is finding a new block every 4.41 seconds. Right? Wrong?
The %APPDATA% folder is 18 MB big now after ~150 minutes, that could mean 1 GB within about a week - on April foolsday, it's as big as the bitcoin chain :-) all linear models of course, only first order approximation, sorry.
I find this coin interesting, as a laboratory for the coinworld. Study extreme cases. To the crypto veterans: Which other coins in the past years have you seen to behave like this?
