6136 blocks to go until halving at time of this post.  At 14,400 blocks per 24 hours, that gives us 4.26 days until the halving event!  Should be sometime around 3 or 4AM on this next Monday April 7th!  Early in the morning for those of us here in the USA.

Enjoy mining those 4000k blocks while you can until then and snatch up some extra USDe by buying it on Mintpal as well while it's a bit down in price.  Build pressure will start to outweigh its availability to sell and/or dump from mining at that point.

I saw that too, contacted them and we've exchanged information on patching the KGW implementation, just like several other coins also need to do.  The development team is aware and researching the problem, the fix, and we'll potentially have word on that soon.  This was a precautionary measure on Mintpal's part - and the USDe network is running fine at this point still.

We'll surely get the fix out and move forward!

I was just gonna warn you guys to fix the KGW so an attack doesn't happen .. good to know you guys are taking care of it I made a list of all the KGW coins for cryptorush to help them out, so they could disable them until a fix.

USDe will be making the official announcement later, but the team has confirmed that we will have an updated wallet later today, followed by Mac wallet soon as well.  I believe we will be forking in about ~5 days so we'll need all pools, exchanges, and individuals to update.  This patch will fix the KGW exploit that is somewhat controversial; however, USDe is well supported so we want to play it on the safe side.

Look for formal announcement later today.

KGW Vulnerability Fix & Block Halving Update
USDe DEV team is reaching out to all pool operators and exchange owners to update their USDe wallets with the latest update that we have implemented. The update will kick in at block #144,000 (about 5 days from this posting's time) and it addresses the reported security vulnerability in the KGW implementation.  

The Windows wallet is up to date (link on the OP and our Web Site). Mac OS X wallet will be updated shortly.

We are still in the market for a mobile app developer, so if you have suggestions please send them along.

If you are mining P2P or in a pool other than Poolerino (Poolerino is up to date), please help by reaching out to the Pool operators to ask them to update.

We will let everyone know once we've confirmed each of the exchanges has an up-to-date wallet. Please do the same if you come across a tweet or some other update from exchanges.

REMINDER about block halving: If you were on the mend about mining USDe, now it's the time to get some! -- the network will be dropping block payouts by half (to 2,000USDe per block) this upcoming Monday (less than 48hrs away!)
