I've submitted QubitCoin to Coin-Swap: https://coin-swap.net/newcoinI named it QC because Q2C was not allowed... We need to donate 100k Dogecoin to the following address to get it on the exchange: Mission: Get QubitCoin on Coin-Swap ToDo: Donate 100k DOGE to Coin-Swap ( https://coin-swap.net/newcoin) Steps: Donate DOGE to the following address: DENmgEka4mhxZsqE1HxtNRdU3iznPgboar Status: 0 / 100k DOGE You could see the donated amount on the website posted above (scroll down a little bit). Let's do this, it's not that much! :-) Why Q2C is not allowed? Wrong name can confuse people. I wanted to take Q2C, but the form showed an error message that only letters (A-Z) are allowed.

@ex_mac (sorry to bother you) Number of blocks found last 24h on cpu-pool.net : 322 - used to be ~600 Number of blocks found last 24h on mine-pool.net : 121 - used to be ~360/400 The huge difference surely come from all those gpu miner you do not want

Hello miners I have a problem, that seems noone other has. Since day 1 SOLO mining this coin my server is not accepting more than 4 connections. I did change conf file with maxconnections=100 and restarted everything, but seems that there is nothing changed. After 4 connections accomplished I get error message on miners: [2014-03-07 01:15:42] HTTP request failed: Operation timed out after 30045 milliseconds with 0 out of -1 bytes received[2014-03-07 01:16:42] json_rpc_call failed, retry after 30 seconds Please help, I have tried pool mining, but not anymore, not satisfied with payouts at all (cpu-pool.net) I think, you want to connect more than 4 miners to your wallet. I've had the same problem a time ago and found a configuration option that is poorly documented but very important for solo miner. You'll have to add the following line to your config: Of course you could adjust the numbers of rpcthreads to equal your amount of miner. Hello Halbert, This is it! Thank You! As gratitude for the help I would like to donate 500 qubit coins to You! Please send me address. TY!

You're welcome! :-) I would suggest to donate the Q2C to the developer for promoting: Donate to promote / bounty: GanSE84GjS3D3onACxFHrwgtvTBRh7JgsG@ex_mac (sorry to bother you) Number of blocks found last 24h on cpu-pool.net : 322 - used to be ~600 Number of blocks found last 24h on mine-pool.net : 121 - used to be ~360/400 The huge difference surely come from all those gpu miner you do not want I remember Q2C was announced as a CPU-only coin... You could still mine with CPU with a reasonable income.

not as efficient ? A 3930K, overclocked at 4.8GHz, give me 1600KH/s An old HD7850 give me 2.5MHs (bought used at 90$) A R9 280X give 5.4MHs My dual xeon 2687w (each cpu cost 2000$) give me 3.3MHs.. less than a 350$ gpu.. I like cpu mining. But, face it, Q2C is no more a CPU coin. unless you want to waste energy. -with 8 xeons L5530 + 2 xeon 2687 + a 3930K, mining do not cover electricity, or barely (at the current rate), and with the upcoming halving bloc, it wont. It's sad, but gpu miner change that. I continue to mine with GPUs for a while, but with the vardiff bug/change on the two pools i liked to mine, i go away to mine another coin. (still with Qubit algo by the way) My CPUs are now on another coin too, trully cpu only - for the moment - coin

I think that someone else should take qubitcoin and continue with development. Krecy obviously is not interested anymore. He was Last Active: March 06, 2014, 10:56:44 PM...he should even write some message here so we could know what's happening, but he didn't.

krecu has tanks under the house, believe that in such circumstances also would not be interested in such mundane matters ... fully understand it put a lot of work in q2c. You coa032 him for the job did not pay so silent son

Anyone here want to take over ? This is exactly what I was thinking about. It's a little bit irresponsible for developer to act like this. First he created the coin and went on vacation. OK, we swallowed that. Then he came back but disappeared again without proper explanation. There is no single post from him for 10 days now. Other people are from Ukraine and they are still active on this forum so I don't think that is the reason. Obviously he is not interested anymore. Are there any programmers that are interested to take this coin over? Someone you know? We can all chip in and collect certain amount of Q2C as encouragement and stimulus for new developer. I'm afraid that if qubit doesn't get a little bit more popular within next month or two, it is going to die...

You coa032 him for the job did not pay so silent son Are you blind or what? As you can see he was active few days and he didn't tell us anything...you wanna say that he has time to login and don't have a time to inform us about his plans with qubit? He said that he will be absent 7 days and that deadline have been passed few days ago.

ok ok a little unnecessarily lifted. Krecu lives in the Crimea, are ongoing struggle.. With krecu or not we are undoubtedly a problem. We are approaching the exchange mintpal, but then what. We have to be interested in our coin speculator, sorry to say this but this moment we do not have too much to offer. Miners in connection with the extraction of almost all at the paltry price will stop q2c interest .... The base is not wymiekać, not pushed on bids. I myself bought q2c above 200satoshi ...

Working fine, yes...Dev needs to be seen to be active daily. Especially to recruit new developers. There will always be unforseen issues , and they need to be addressed immediately they crop up. This is about growth in the coin and its network.. If the active dev. posted daily here, that on its own would be good for a 50% increase in the price.
