What can one say about Dcgirl, she had hard work, dedication, and effort. These aren't conclusive towards value adding activities. She put in a great effort, but what of the results? I can see for myself who is still on the UTC team.

So for the next 100+ days or so nothing is happening?
Is the multipool still in development? Multipool has to be the main project before a plug in for a game surly
nothing is in developement since dcgirl left, so its rethink and regroup for now... we will do the weekly POS update soon and go from there. And in the meantime this coin is rounded up and taken over by china. Well done. At least it's going to be pumped a lil bit.

Something like "when the going gets tough," well, you know the rest.

It's a good question I think we all want to hear directly from Bumface, So who from the six that are left in the team are still in the DevTeam at this moment ?Ultracoin is now governed by a Board of Directors, a Board that will guide our efforts and ensure that we are using resources most effectively, and delivering the maximum value to our community and stakeholders. This Board is made up of the following positions and people: 1. Founder and Director of Planning - Michael 2. Director of Systems and Coin Development - John 3. Treasurer, with audit responsibility for all community wallets - Jakob 4. Team Manager and Director of Artistic Vision and Branding - Jakob 5. Director of Application Development - DCGirl6. Director of PR and Marketing - TBD7. Director of Strategic Partnerships - Paulgr 8. Community Leader - Ultrasmart Bumface, who are still in the def team or the board of directors ?
Please name them and there function ok
There is no dev team behind this coin now.

The peoples Republic of butthurt trolls shall not be silenced! Our unconstructive criticism shall pierce the monitors of every Bitcointalk user! We shall overthrow the oppressive Bumface and erect the peoples administration of Ultracoin! All of the UTC shall be distributed upon need and all mining rigs will be placed under troll command! Dissenters will be singled out and charged with conspiracy!

Who is artificially driving the value for UTC down? I'm starting to think that there is a conspirator that is attempting to keep the UTC prices relatively low. How is UTC supposed to grow when any value being added is immediately taken away.
I don't want to bash the other algorithms, but X11 is extremely unprofitable to mine along with Scrypt and their Scrypt Asics. I believe we're going to see a mass migration to other cryptos that don't use these mining algorithms such as UTC or other cryptos.
UTC has been through a torrent of problems such as exchanges being hacked, BTC crashing, and N scrypt adjustments. Through these changes, UTC has survived and I believe it will emerge stronger than ever in the upcoming months. Only time will tell, but from what I've seen, UTC is working towards becoming a long-term cryto-currency.

Multipools are crypto coin killers, why need one? Just go mine another coin, sell it and buy UTC. Pretty simple stuff. You don't need a pool to do that unless just being lazy. Besides Utc has been one of the more profitable coins to mine for a few reasons: - many have a hard time configuring miners even with the configurator especially at higher NFactors and it takes some willingness to learn so many eventually leave - the coin is not that popular because many think a 30 second confirmation time is to fast and not that secure so difficulty remains low also some mine only to dump for other coins on the rise - also x11 coins will continue to be made because they are a GPU miners choice. That is why their difficulty goes up so high so fast. Contrary to the belief here, scrypt chacha is not the miners choice and will not be until some high end miners come out for x11. Even though I still mine this coin I would prefer x11 because of the much lower heat and power consumption and it is more environmentally friendly. Although for me this current NFactor is more acceptable than all the previous ones and I would suggest to not change it from this for at least a year or more until UTC can show some more promise Actually the best thing for this coin is to kill the mining altogether and go full pos with a decent return and maybe re implement the pow at a later date in a relaunch when the minecraft plugin is complete. That would be an awesome attention getter. If that happened I would buy 2btc worth right now. Work the problem, that's the best advice I can give until this coin finds its purpose. The coin has good potential but just staying the course is going to drive it no where.

Honestly Michael/bumface, you need to invite criticism, even trolling. It's needed to further develop the coin. Most of it is trash, but some of it is reasonable suggestions based on what the users of UTC have experienced. Trolls are best at pointing out problems or flaws. If you systemically moderate and delete posts all the time, you'd destroy any chance of meaningful thought and deliberations on how to make UTC better. It's simply a waste of your time and effort to moderate the trolling on this topic.
Please read this and take it in to consideration. You may not like what is being said about your cryptocurrency, but it is needed. I don't believe Satoshi Nakamoto moderated his forum when he created bitcoin or cared about what the critics said about it. When all is said and done, trolls are forgotten and whats left is where the cryptocurrency is at. Simply moderating the forums isn't going to change that, you're drawing more attention to the trolls and essentially "feeding the trolls."

1)bumface didn't force any of you guys to buy into the ipo. (afaik)
2)crypto-trade killed utc.
3)you guys kept on mining on the same pool(nitro). whose fault was it? its your fault, neither bumface nor the owner of nitro forced you to join that pool.

guys i will make it real simple for you :
if you like UTC , stay
if you dont like UTC, leave
spending every day in here while you dont like utc is just plain pathetic, and its the same names over and over again, life is to short to focus on something you dont like!!
If this keeps up im locking this thread for ever, and we can all just move to ultracointalk, so at least i can ban the trolls.i dont have the time or the energy for this pathetic routine in my life,im trying to build greatness here

Thread is like being round someones house who argues with their gf every fucking day.
You lot could have invested the value you've knocked off your coin by constant bitching
and we would have new features and developments.
It's like you want this coin to fail...
If you don't like bumface at least show some compassion for the bagholders.
