Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

what does this site offer that an exchange doesn't? I don't understand why you have created it and why you want people to create an account?

Can I suggest that the multipool buys up UTC every 8 hours instead of every 24 hours. The huge jump in value is causing huge dumps due to the big price swing. Smaller buys more often would be more beneficial. I don't know if that is possible but would be great if it could

I have been thinking along the same line. Buying at irregular/Secret times might help prevent allot of dumping. Though I'm no expert and are pretty happy how it is working right now  Grin

I'm currently reworking the way my pool accounts for coins.
Currently the buying happens every 6- 10 hours. But it is not set in stone, It only happens when we reach a certain quota of coins

Hello tsjaar,
Ming is Chinese and indeed he has the Dutch nationality also, he is a investor in several kind of businesses.
As investors mostly do he will stay in to the background. When needed he will com forward.

Dear Ultracoin members,

Just quick update. Tomorrow we will put the announcement of the new management at this tread.

Regards,
Paul.

Dear Ultracoin Members,

I would like to let you know that Fabian, Ming and I are in the final stages to put our new team together.

In addition we are busy, together with Micheal, to give various developer jobs some extra input so we could soon complete them.

Soon we can give you a statement and tell you more in detail.

So I just want to ask you all for just a little bit more patience  Wink

Thanks,
Paul.

I am wondering when maybe we can hear something from the new management  Cheesy I believe in them and their ability, just can't wait to hear something from them!

They are preparing the statement right now , for a professional launch.

I am working on a daily basis with them for an optimal transfer.

have the details of PoS changed with the new wallet? Or is it still hold for 365days to get 20%. I thought I heard it changed, but I havent moved my coins since April and nothing is staking in v1.0.3.

we are now finalising an update that will change the POS to weekly instead of yearly, 0.1% per week

If UTC's POS payout has changed from the 20% per year, someone should update that on the main page. It might be a good place to explain the stake minting checkbox on the UTC wallet as well.

Go Team UTC!

The POS structure as with other elements of UTC are currently under discussion. Thnaks for pointing this out and I am sure that the revised team will make some announcements soon.

Cheers

KC

Message of 23th of May after IRC meeting made it clear what to expect I guess. 0,1% POS/week so 5,2% POS/year.

Hello UCM`s!  Grin

Last night we had a very productive IRC meeting and we say thank you to everybody who attended, a few things were discussed and the general consensus was that we should try to turn the yearly POS into a weekly POS and that this should be 0.1% per week.We are still talking to a dev about this.

Was 0.1% agreed on? that wouldn't attracted investors as they could just place there money in a high interest account at a bank to get 6-8% interest per year. We need to at least aim to beat this so investors would find it lucrative!?

I would be very interested to know the name of a bank that is paying 6-8% interest on anything. I have money standing by.
