Dear Ultracoin Members,

I would like to let you know that Fabian, Ming and I are in the final stages to put our new team together.

In addition we are busy, together with Micheal, to give various developer jobs some extra input so we could soon complete them.

Soon we can give you a statement and tell you more in detail.

So I just want to ask you all for just a little bit more patience  Wink

Thanks,
Paul.

I am wondering when maybe we can hear something from the new management  Cheesy I believe in them and their ability, just can't wait to hear something from them!

They are preparing the statement right now , for a professional launch.

I am working on a daily basis with them for an optimal transfer.

Try this one:

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
.\sgminer\sgminer.exe -k x11mod -o stratum+tcp://stratum.cryptotrain.net:4444 -u your wallet -p x -I 17 --gpu-engine 1000 --gpu-memclock 1400

If this works you can add another parameters such as thread-concurrency and tune intensity and gpu-engine.
Use ltcrabbit mode and 13.12 drivers

a 290 should be able to run I 18 without issues. Maybe higher. I would also recommend g 2 (2 gpu threads) and experiment with w 256 and w 128.
Good luck.

Can someone please explain to me how to

1) Create a BIP38 hash from a private key
2) How to decode that BIP38 has into the private key
3) How to upload that pub/priv key into your wallet
4) How to encode an existing wallet private key into BIP38

Your help will be tremendous, thanks!

i was searching for this about month before and found script, which is good at btc adress generators:
Open bitaddress.org
Open Javascript console. (Ctrl+Shift+K in Firefox, Ctrl+Shift+J in Chrome)
Enter: "ninja.privateKey.BIP38PrivateKeyToEncryptedKeyAsync("5JbfzjSxCpBf6rpMo1vfMi6DLa6oZzRNJcZRLF9otzCpA5yoJ3t", "password", false, function(key) { prompt("BIP38 Key", key); });"
without quotes and with yout btc privkey..
but in utc generator, its showing error. there is also option to generate new adress already protected by bip38 passphrase, but as i understand, you want to protect existing wallet/privkey...

later i discovered, that bip38 coding mechanism is already implemented in some aplications, so, maybe this is way to convert existing privkey. its also working for btc only, but there is source code and all i know about difference between these keys, is that for ultracoin prefix you need decimal value of 68 (as for btc is 0 and ltc 48...). (follow links under "reference implementation"):
https://github.com/bitcoin/bips/blob/master/bip-0038.mediawiki

thats all i know, i will be grateful for more info about this too...

You should get near 4mh/s or more with a 290 but I don't have one so I'm only guessing. It's trial and error with settings but if you're using 1000/1400 on engine/memory you can go much higher. Try 1150/1550 and see what you get.

I'm hoping we were mining CryptCoin overnight and at the start of today as it went from 0.00027 to 0.00095, that would be a wonderful number of BTC generated to buy into Ultracoin
