my orders made on the 22nd (early in the morning and in afternoon -US Pacific time) were shipped on the 24th separately and have taken different routs, their cumming at me from both sides and Im gonna meet them in the middle! Both scheduled for delivery end of day today 27th. Fingers crossed, and no tracking info in post so I dont jinx myself Buying PSU's was a real pain (i know i could have gone with cheaper server psu, but i guess i can sell these later for maybe half their value) Ended up ordering 2 750W psu's (hopefully they will be enough for 3 ants on modest oc, someone had confirmed they were doing same) Corsair TX-750W 80 Plus Bronze $80 Rosewill CAPSTONE 750W 80 Plus Gold $100 Ive spent the last few days coming through the miner setup threads, have even made serious notes one the types of problems people have experienced, their solutions, all marked with reference pages, been preppin lol. I need some advise. Should I create one worker for both miners or different worker for each? If im not mistaking both miners on the same worker, this means the work done by each machine will be combined into one result under that same miner in that pool, and therefore produce better results ?? Should I point each miner at a different pool, or same pool.

so the advantage of one worker per miner is pretty much only because of spotting problems? And is it better to have both my miners in the same pool or different pools?

Sorry, but I can't believe this story... it's clear from the images that the dust is concentrated on the area where the fan blows through the heatsinks... to suggest that it's from standing on the shelf smells of distraction to me, they're not even that old! It should be obvious to most people that this miner was used for a very long time and the fact that the fan was broken adds to the evidence... those pics indicate months of use, and they did say units are new and only seen days of use. we should all support the member as right is right. hopefully Bitmain takes care of the issure, which i think they will but I also thing they might not if people are so indifferent. I dont want a used machine, and no one wants a heavily used machine which might die too soon... the process is known as 'aging', don't get it confused with 'burn-in' most mining rig sold from china are exactly like this. even tiny reseller agent have 20-30 unit on shelves before shipping. any consumer protection in this industry is illuison it is still wild-west.. but you would of thought they should of quickly dust at least and sorry you cannot change this, consider it a luxury in current times to receive working miner which is not pre-order, and will generate you more btc than paid

That looks used to me! Did you wipe that thermal paste off the second board or was it like that out the box? I would think for the paste to run like that it would have to have been used and if it wasn't you then someone else tried to remove it before sending the unit off. I'm not sure it can get that hot during transport at any stage. ok miner 2 is the same here are the pics small amour of dust Miner 2 side 2

no i started to clean it up then i remembered to take pics I have some small globs around the screws on my boards and they have never shown any signs of running like that, the fan should not allow it to get that hot... of course unless it was clogged because it was running for weeks without cleaning...

Yes finally!... "Out for Delivery" Has anyone run these units side by side? I have limited space in my server cabinet so I am ganna have to have 2 miners quite close to each other. I don't like the idea I would like space for good air flow. I would probably only have 1-2cm gap between the two. Does anyone know if this would greatly increase board temps?
