Is this coin starting to work appropriately or getting there? Darksend, masternodes, open source, etc
Masternodes up, payments working. Darksend works with 10 drk limit, being improved next release RC4, after RC4 code vetting + open source. |

Darksend works, masternode payouts were activated very recently and open source is planned to occur after core development work is completed. |

darksend works already?
I try to send, but the client just sent it to a new local adress.
nothing to the target adress.
I use the client v0.10.11.4 Windows

On 2. try I get this message:
DarkCoin Error:
Couldn't find a confirmed unspend output equal to 10 DRK. This shouldn't ever happen, please report to devlopers.
Looks like darksend dosent work at all...
I have more than 10 DRK in the wallet.

After close and open the client I can send again.
Now I have: darksent Status => Waiting for more entries (1/3), but no changes....
It needs to wait until it receives 3 inputs into the pool. If no one else is sending, it will just keep waiting. the message is away now. I didn't touch. now there is darkSend Status => Idle again but it didn't work. Nothing arrived at destination.... Darksend timed out waiting for participants. Not enough transfers to mix with. (needs at least 3.) One of the joys and excitement of being a newbie in this kaleidoscope crypto currency world is to wake up at 4am in the morning checking the price of my initial investment which is equivalent to 1.341 DRK on Cryptsy  . After we had experienced the wrath of Typhoon Haiyan here in the Philippines, I discovered alt coins by mid February 2014 and began researching it thru my java phone only as broadband facilities were totally damaged in our area. This way, my DRK enthusiasm began to grow as i found that there is no other alt coin with promising innovation and devs have serious commitment to the project. My friends were amazed on the DRK price path because the first time i showed them DRK was only $0.69 ,I think that was in early May, then after nearly a month it rose up to $15++  whew...About 2 weeks ago, i found a way to buy bitcoins here in PH in a small amount of Php 871 and was very excited to trade those satoshis for DRK matter.....hehehhe...it gave me a relief that i now have 3.3M satoshis and i dont have to spend the whole day visiting faucets for bitcoins. Immediately, I started to test trade on Cryptsy and lost some sats...on some alt coins...(the price for being a newbie in trading) ...but am still holding my DRK...and i'm very optimistic it will rock the crypto currency world! why is the price not rising hard? illusion about to die off ? sell on delivery as usual?  ...marketcap is already 44 million. DRK is arguably way overpriced as is. Do you have any idea how much money it will take to even double the price? You guys already reached the moon at these prices. (now watch the DRK bagholders swarm to defend their "precious" bags)No, a little money is needed to increase the price. The sell side is pretty weak if you ask me. Just look at the masternode number, we are approaching 400. That's 400 000 less DRK around.  |

Do I need to update my masternode to .4, or does it get paid even if it's on .2? Cannot update at the moment :/

Sweet !! An RC Ubuntu QT ? ... still rolling with the CLI for now... but sweet!! Will do wonders for Coin Control  BTW... 66% of my nodes have gotten payed!! This is seriously good math under 12h of being up, and working better than testnet !! Wooo-hoo !! |

CroutonNodes all updated, didn't have to fanny about with local wallets this time, just did, for any newbie node ops:

....indeed. That's what I did as well and worked nice. The remote node must just monitor the cold wallet balance once you've proven ownership to to once which is great. Haven't got any payment yet, but I notice that more and more blocks are getting populated with a 'payee node' as RC3 gets propagated. |
