Bad, I'm sold all my DRK yesterday. 

Dark coin is going to overtake quark coin by monday. Once darksend is released, this coin will explode. TO eduffiled, I say kudos to you and InternetApe. You guys have reached a landmark in record time. But be sure not to rest on your laurels just yet. In order for darkcoin to remain relevant once the inevitable copy-cat scam coins emerge, I implore you guys to still consider the encrypted network you had initially planned.

I remember your post. You were panicking hilariously and you sold your 500 dark when it was $0.45.

That really sucks. But I sold at 0.5 without any intention to do so. Cryptsy fucked the auto sell feature up. At least for me. So I made also huge losses. Since I bought high at 0.8 or so and sold low. But I have sawn it just a few hours ago because I didn't checked in before. If I had, I could have bought back in without losses. But so. (I transferred them over at the 27.2)

But in other news: DRK is trading in the top 10 at Coinmarketcap with 0.49%. Really nice to see.

Tutorial for mining darkcoin on ubuntu 13.10 using ATI/AMD GPUs

After installing Ubuntu 13.10, download and install the latest AMD driver. Then enter the following at the terminal:

Yes it is rising, but seems to be artificial pumping going on. Hate these roller coasters. No one sell please! LOL If they want this, they need to get on with the mining program.

I love mining this coin and am setting up additional rigs to increase hash power. Saving 60% electricity on my 280x rig without custom bios flash (No flash available for R9 280x gaming yet). Saving 55% on the 290x rig and will probably save another 10% once I custom flash later today and finish this rig.

I had this exact same thought yesterday.  Needs some differentiation between coins which claim anonymity and DRK, which is TRULY anonymous.

"World's First Truly Anonymous Coin" gets my vote.  Explain the decentralized, zero-trust nature of Darksend in the first post and how that is different from the current "anonymizer" features of a couple other coins.

On another note, I used to do...well let's call it "advertising" in the US Army.  I would humbly suggest that anyone who insists that the name be changed from Darkcoin gets freaking bent.  This coin is the perfect storm of awesome from a marketing standpoint, with the added benefit that it actually is, ya know, awesome.  The name has some mystique, and if there's anything people LOVE, it's mystique.  The name ties in beautifully with the Darksend feature, its purpose is self-evident in its branding - not to mention the technical ways that it differentiates itself.  

Trust me, do not change a thing.  People will go nuts for this thing.  It's absolutely perfect the way it is.

There are enough miners mate. The coin speaks for itself. If you don't mine it, there are 10 other people currently mining it. So the whole 10 dark payment is laughable.
