I'm sorry for the delay!

I've added the service to darkcoin.io direct purchase methods page:
https://www.darkcoin.io/using-darkcoin/buy-darkcoin/direct-purchase/

I don't post to our social media channels, but I have asked those who do to post something.

I also know that stonehedge did a test purchase today and it went fine.

As we say in darkcoin.io "DISCLAIMER: This list is provided for informational purposes only. Services listed here have not been evaluated or endorsed by the Darkcoin developers and no guarantees are made as to the accuracy of this information. Please exercise discretion when using third-party services."

However, I confirm that William contacted me well before starting development because he needed some data about Darkcoin. I don't know him personally or have any interest in his business, but he seems legit. If he were a scammer he would be a pretty dumb one because his service is limited to the UK and bank transfers Smiley

I may or may not like the prices, but he is someone developing services in the Darkcoin ecosystem and because of that he has my respect.

I can recommend easydarkcoin.com after giving them a try today.   Transfer was a bit slow (45 mins) but that is because the owner manually verifies and coins are not kept online Wink

I haven't verified my ID with them but might do as a back up option should I need some DRK and usual channels are unavailable.

Thank you both for your kind words and your vote of confidence.  The service hasn't long launched and as with anything in the crypto world, trust is paramount. I hope your feedback goes a long way to giving users confidence in the service!  Smiley

If anyone has any questions regarding EasyDarkcoin.com then don't hesitate to get in touch with me.

Likewise.  As discussed earlier, get in touch if you need anything from your friendly UK Darkcoin Ambassador.

It saddens me to see such a poor response from the DRK community with regards to the misuse of CH's words. Signature use is up and the this community has new members who purport to be his relatives. Since my goal is to get you to stop using that signature I have elected to adopt a different strategy to broker this accord and will back-off entirely for one week.

Hopefully we can leave this mess behind us. The ball's now in your court.

In the meantime CH wished I post the message below on his behalf.  He has already apologised in IRC to any members of the SDC community who were offended by his actions.

Quote
Dear DRK community,

We travel different roads leading to the same destination: Anonymity. I regret I can no longer walk with you on yours and sincerely apologise for any offence I have caused members of the Darkcoin community. This was NOT my intention. Out of respect I will never post in this thread again. Our vision differs and I do not wish to play any part in a 2-tier network where there are masters and slaves.

Thank you for returning my words, assuming you have done so. When I originally penned them one year ago I felt the same heart-felt passion for DRK that I now have for SDC. However, the thanks I gave to Evan I do not retract. My thanks to Evan still apply. Thank you Evan.

solid1234 mentioned how this space is a little like ProSports. With this metaphor in  mind I'm not embarrassed to say I feel a little bruised and battered after the last few days or action. I'll be sitting on the bench for a bit and shall relinquish into the shadows.

So Farewell & God speed,

Child Harold
p.s. What a long, strange trip it's been.

 The Child Harold Lollipop Fundraiser

This community funding project is destined to anonymously buy and deliver a nice, big, and long lasting lollipop, so as to ease child_harold's sulking in the corner. We do not need him to disturb his Mother with such trivial matters. We also hope the sugar content eases his cry-babyness, maybe momentarily boosting mental capacity as a side effect. An assortment of candy shall be offered to his buddy/puppet accounts, and his lawyer.

Please PM me the tx id, so I can verify identity to sign the gift card.

my 24hrs with the sig is nearly up. it was fun and I like the alternative way to deal with trolls, ridicule them back to shitcoinland (although SDC might actually have some merit from one of the DRK regulars that I asked a while back)

Does this mean you aren't suing anonymous forum members over the Internet? Damn.

Really really, too much problem occured with exchange.
First MtGox (worse) then mintpal, then hack there and here (c-cex, ploniex, even bitstamp and bter recently)... Oh god.

We must think of something that should work flawlessly, this really show a bad face of crypto..
How can you have some new investor with all those stories?

Seriously, I really cannot stand Bitcoin Rush presenter (guy with the bow tie). He is highly highly annoying  Huh
If I had no clue about DRK and saw that video, I dont think I could ever recover from the trauma.

Hope I dont offend anyone, but he really puts me off.

He reminds me of this guy, though this guy I find hilarious - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPaUK9Ftbi8&spfreload=10

Videos whose target audience is something else than the people who already hang out 24/7 on bitcointalk and troll boxes are needed if we want to break out to the masses. I'd say it's better that the video was made than if it wasn't, or does someone actually disagree?

And also, it's good that people can actually see the person behind the coin, and Evan came off as a honest guy who's not pulling any scams.

Someone earlier mentioned you have to "lock" the 1000 coins in a masternode if you pay out the "earnings" in order to keep the node running and that it is not spending the reserved coins.

How do i lock them @ Linux?

Activate Coin Control feature in the options, then go to Send Tab, and select all inputs except the 1k, so that way the QT wont touch it when you cash out.

For context, Whalefail is quite a grumpy loser over on cryptsy trollbox. I can't say I've ever seen him say anything meaningful and usually just skim right past his comments.
