So i'm still a dark/dash investor but I do agree that there should have been a vote by all foundation members. Maybe Even needs to acknowledge this with ways to be more transparent to the community and foundation members which will smooth things over in the short term.

In the long term I don't think this is going to matter either way, old people will be replaced by new and so on.

I would think this is pretty huge. They're 4 times the size of Overstock and 8 times if you measure by employees.

Direct competitor of Amazon. Just reading about them I think this company could be a huge wedge in the door for cryptocurrencies. They're an aggregator for smaller retailers - just the type of situation that cryptocurrencies were made for. I can totally see why they're into it because if you're aggregating 40,000 other retailers then your margins are probably as tight as a badger's ar*s and 3% going to payment processors is probably a gash the size of the Grand Canyon in your profits.

Not only that, there's the whole huge hassle of "wiring everyone up" to payment gateways. being able to cut that whole industry right out of the picture in one fell swoop must be pretty attractive.

Sorry but this post is growing with every second - I think this is pretty huge.
