Just listened to the LTB interview and it was pretty good. 

It didn't really explain how transaction abbreviation was going to scale to millions of txes/day though, if they all still need to go into blocks maintained by full nodes. 

The interviewer was a bit snide at one point too. "So you basically just have untraceable transactions and instant transactions..." - uh, just?

Bonus points though for Evan in comedy mode: "We have a really healthy mining ecosystem!" - ahahaha

It's interesting that Paycoin's TA positively DESTROYS the idea that some trolls - in particular AdamAnt - promote about DRK.

Paycoin's TA behave's exactly as a so called "scamcoin" should - with random pumps on no particular news, against the flow of fundamentals, only ever when there's a very thin liquidity line for a significant distance up the 'asks' in order to provide an inexpensive ladder. Some of the patterns painted by Paycoin charts are totally ludicrous and sometimes quite hilarious.

By comparison, DRK's price evolution is positively painful with ever decimal point having to be fought for with weeks of project development and hundreds of tiny buys on top of the odd big buy. It is by any standards 'real' - whatever timescale you look at.

Here's an interview (supposedly) with NSWGreat, one of the "staff" members on Evolution, the darknet site that's turned into a giant scam and precipitated BTC's sudden drop over the past 12 hours.

He's claiming the BTC haul is likely to be much much higher than the 44K being bandied about on various forums and troll boxes. One does wonder what the ramifications are for "lost" bitcoins though. Satoshi is still purported to have 1 million BTC that hasn't been touched. That could be because he (or she or they) are upholding some sort of moral principle on not ever touching them or Satoshi is incapacitated or dead or has just plain old lost the keys to the coins. Either way, I wonder what the ramifications to liquidity and future stability/usability are of substantial portions of the total number of coins that have been mined being taken out of circulation permanently?
