It sounds like a coin toss as to whether your coins were ripped off or whether they were moved by accident. As you say you might have some confusion going on. I don't think udjin meant any insult. You should shut you masternodes down, get control of your coins, double check that they are super duper secure then start over if you really are spooked.

Thanks.  Not spooked.. These systems are rarely on the Internet other then updating.   On my master wallet system it shows no funds moving anywhere.

My question is more out of curiosity... Why did the priv key secondary wallets on the 2 different machines show funds being subtracted... Yet the master wallet did not reflect this...  A technical question as I'm building understanding of who all this works. Thanks.

It's weird enough that you should be spooked. If someone had control of the wallet they might withdraw profits while allowing the nodes to continue drawing interest until they smelled the heat. About the master wallet, it would show no balance change if it was not synced yet, is it fully synced? The blockchain is the the 'truth' in this case, so look on an explorer.

tldr: start from scratch after having mixed the coins and use any guide other than Tao's, but it sounds like its the cold wallet that is compromised.

Again thanks...I'm would have checked the blockchain...but it shows only a transaction ID for the transaction, which is actaully a group of transactions of what looks to be MN payments.  Also, The master wallet is synced, and there are no record of any out going transactions.  This brings me to believe that the priv wallet, once synced maybe withdrew the payments from the "priv" secondary wallet and sent them to the master wallet...maybe.  But I don't know how this all works so Im fishing for some answers.  Splawik will help me track this down tomorrow as well...and we'll keep posted. For Now...all machines are offline and in the master wallet machine, there are no missing funds.  So...I'll wait till the morning to figure out that those 2 transactions where derived from.  Thanks everyone...

Have a withdrawal of 49 DASH  that I never made, happen on my masternodes wallet.  The amounts look like MN payments... this has happened twice now...another wallet had 66 DASH withdrawn?

Did you or someone else set-up the masternodes?

Is someone managing the nodes for you?

Yes...splawik, but he's sleeping I'm sure.  He's been awesome with helping me but I'm trying to also help myself and learn how this all works.

Hm, he will find what happen himself or with help I'm sure. And I 'd like to know.

I'm wondering if its because I have the wallet addresses mirrored from a master wallet to the 2 new wallets i created that its showing this.  Like the coins are being pulled back to the master wallet....I know I'm not articulating this properly...but I hope it makes sense.
There is a common misunderstanding about how wallet works and I'd like to make it clear once again: there are no coins in a wallet actually, only private keys. All your coins are always on blockchain and wallet just gives you access to them by "unlocking" them in blockchain with your private keys allowing you to move coins to another address (i.e. to be secured by another private keys). So when you have "mirrored addresses" you actually have private keys (i.e. access to your coins on blockchain) in both wallets and if you move coins in one wallet you actually move them on blockchain. And if you sent some from that second wallet to another address you might used some inputs from the address that 10MN-wallet knows about.
Let me guess... Did you mix non-1K funds in your second wallet?  Roll Eyes

NO! I'm not  moron. These three wallets are only used for MN's!  I do No NOT do
transactions from these wallets.  The setup is  1 main wallet on one machine,  then w2 priv  wallets with 10 MN's in each of the second priv wallets on 2 other machines.

I these are all in separate machines,  3 computers.  The main is not connected to the Internet.  I have a 4th separate computer that has tx usable dash for mixing etc.  And a 5th android device wallet as well exchange wallets.

This whole ecosystem,  IE All Crypto Currency,  is not easy to understand or use.  My back ground,  for example,  before the winery,  I owned an IT company implementing network solutions with Novel and Windows NT,  early 90's.  Building systems for school boards and medical offices etc... When u had to set up IRQ and DMA settings on network cards on token ring and the cluster *#+a that was hardware back in the day.  I Was one of the first companies to roll out digital xray systems for dental offices etcetera...

So I know my way around computers and what I'm saying as I've said many times before this stuff it's  NOT intuitive.  Even Using wallets and it's features is NOT easy for everyday Joe.

There seems to be a prevailing attitude among the crypto community,  all crypto coins techies,  suffer a lack of empathy for the average Joe.

Err... I didn't mean it.. "All this crypto is very confusing and I want to help" - that what I tried to say and also to explain how it works.. Sorry if it sounded wrong.. I have no idea why Satoshi called this software a "wallet" while it should be a "key holder" or smth like that - I've seen lots of confusion coming from that. I had hard times personally explaining all this crypo to my close friend who also know his way around computer. I just know it's not that easy to get it.

Anyway... mind sharing more specific info in email (txid for a start)? UdjinM6@dashpay.io

Thanks Udjin...cool thanks...I'll send it in the next few minutes. cheers

Could it be those transactions don't show in Master wallet because it is not updated (you mention it is not connected to the internet)?

Sorry bertlebbert...I didn't make that clear.  Yes I had synced the Master Wallet immediately afterwords.

I have no idea why Satoshi called this software a "wallet" while it should be a "key holder"

The correct term should be "keychain".  It's a thing that holds all of your keys.

Well, hope you get it sorted...  Only other thing comes to mind would be to make sure the Master wallet definitely contains the Private keys for the addresses that sent those transactions

Hello..I'm still @ work.
The main wallet contains all the addresses of the MNs.
There are two wallets which contains 50% of the privkeys that are in the seperate offline PC.
The strange thing is that once the MNs earnings are moved from the wallet A or B the main wallet with all privkeys should follow. No magic. That is strange that it didnt happened. Bigrcanada? The earnings from group 1 & 2 were moved but on the main wallet they are still there or not?

Hey Splawik... I believe so. Udjin is also helping me to understand.  I'll explain when I get up in the morning.  But the coins are accounted for I think.  But I'll chat up more in the morning (my morning lol). Cheers

That would freak out your average user.

What do you mean all my money is out there in the open and can be discovered by anyone if they are lucky enough and have a few billion years of running a supercomputer to guess where?  All you need is a bit of luck - that's what makes people play the lottery, they believe in luck against the evidence of mathematical odds.

Your wallet is your bank account. Technically correct? No. Reassuring for the public? Possibly. Good enough? I think so.

the master wallet does not contain all the addresses/private keys as 2 the newly created wallets. those new wallets have different addresses/private keys not contained in the master plus the key/address from the master if you did a dump like i did. i'm no expert but i'm sure they will get you sorted out. the most important thing is not to delete any of your wallets or backups for now.

Did anyone else see this last night?

It was too cloudy where I am but thanks for taking the picture and sharing.
Btw, do you mind I use 1 or 2 images and try to create a 3d hologram effect, am thinking the ones with a double coin might be easiest to start with ?

I think you should to get in touch with Raptor_73 (Raptor73 on DashTalk). I think you're talking about images that he made: http://www.dash.pics/raptor73/

You could make your own here if you want: http://www.zazzle.com/custom/keychains

Ok. Let's kick it up a notch. Could you have one side be the logo and the other size be a QR code for a receiving address? If so, then you could always be able to receive money DASH offline.

It looks like you can do it here: http://www.zazzle.com/double_sided_photo_keychain_for_your_two_photos-256956523415102463. I'm thinking of getting one with the default images, the background is just divine  Huh

The are are few different options for shapes, down the page, be sure to pick a double-sided one.

Maybe somebody could get in touch with these guys: http://www.bkeychain.com/, to see if they would be interested in making Dash keychains, they've made Litecoin ones as well.
