It seems like you don't do a lot of reading. If you did read as you claimed, you would have realised that we are in the alpha stages of testing Dark send. Let me translate that into stupidese for you.

"Darksend is already created. The dev is just making sure it is perfect".

Now back to English. Go to the front page and read. Click on the progress links. Scour the testnet thread. Come back when you don't have to be spoon fed every fucking information, which mind you, is at your finger tips but you're too lazy or stupid to read.

To the person saying we should be hyping Darkcoin, THIS is why we don't hype Darkcoin.  All you do is leave a negative connotation with your coin.  If your coin is truly good, it's going to perform well in the long term.  If it's crap, well, you can put all the strawberry jam you want on a giant dog crap but the fact is, you're still eating crap.

Maybe some of these guys coming from the Fedora Coin thread will wise up, dump their dying coin while they can, and get in early on Darkcoin (as we're still VERY early) instead of just embarrassing themselves.

I don't pick out any one coin and marry it.  And if you are concerned about how your coin reputation looks, think about how you are acting yourself.  I don't know or condone MyFarm.  (I don't condone you either.  Go learn how to convert from BTC to LTC.)  His comeback just made me chuckle is all.  I have been following this thread for a few days.

There is a good side and a bad side to GPU mining right now.

The "bad" side is that the current GPU implementation may be underperforming - not necessarily due to bad programming but due to the way the hashes are accelerated on GPUs. Some hashes may be more compatible while other hashes less compatible. This is kind of quite good news for ASIC-resistance actually, being an early indicator.

The "good" side is that if everyone uses the same GPU implementation then everyone consumes less energy and preserves their hardware better. It also keeps CPU mining alive (I don't know about rented instances, but for desktop mining its viable*).

* Pools MUST reduce the 0.1 DRK fee because it's killing small miners. It takes many hours to mine that kind of quantity. Gone are the days of many coins per day.

People are just overly defensive. The truth is that both TIPS AND darkcoin both have great community backing and are showing innovation. This is much more then can be said about all the clone and scam coins on the market. I like darkcoin because i consume less electricity and my gpus run cooler and the biggest thing is no 2% transaction fee for tumbling coins like tips charges.

Actually, we didn't mention any foreign coin name here. This was just you.
I have no intention to blame other coins. It's just a reaction to all the FUD the DRK community (or some members) spreads at others threads. Once Darksend is released, I'll take a look at it. And hopefully its an evolution that brings the whole crypto world a step forward.
