Exactly. You can just look at the Charts for DRK going all the way back. Same thing has been happening over and over, just keeps getting a bit more epic. It will be interesting to see what happens after the Masternodes start paying people running them as well. One more day?

He doesn't even have 10k darkcoin...

Devs sold off most off their coins for 2 cents a coin months ago, to the extent that they had to make posts to buy back. Check the trading section and this thread for posts by the devs selling their coin, and buying.

99% of early miners sold off their coins, check the blockchain for proof. Go back to your troll ditch.

Are there any pools with a lower payout threshold than 1 DRK? By now that would take about a full week of mining with a single r9 280x.

Are you familiar with mining on p2pool? That is the best and easiest way Smiley Just use username as your DRK payout address and any password.

LTC panic: https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=19819

"Will LTC be replaced by DRK"?

Losing confidence in LTC => hedge of LTC bagholders with DRKs or selling LTCs => both scenarios make the ascent of DRK to #2 easier.

Fact of that matter is that once the fork happens and masternode payments go live(and are proven to work), and darksend code is released and poked at for a week or two, all the dark markets will start accepting it, and i seem to recall something like that happening before to some upstart digital coin.

A few other coins out there have actual innovation(nxt's platform implementing colored coins is one that comes to mind), but this coin has essentially a whole budding tor relay network behind it(masternodes) in a self sustained matrix.  The best part is that once dark markets start accepting it as a standard, and the price goes up?  The feds will just have to buy a bunch too(if they havent already) to set up their own masternodes to spy on the network, which will just make it go higher.  Im sure coinmixing between nodes can just be scaled to deal with it too.

Bitcoin has sort of done what it was supposed to do;  introduce the concept of a blockchain, a magical ledger that no one has control over and anyone could see, and its fantastic for that purpose.  Now its being incorporated into government and banking, and is really a gold standard gateway into any other coin.  Its changed along the way but itll do just fine.

Regardless of how people are playing the markets day to day, and how many bollucks ripcoins there are, well executed concepts with real purpose is what this next generation of coins(and technology, and nature) is all about, just like the last generation.

If evans code holds up under open scrutiny, and people continue to support the growing infrastructure of the network(why wouldnt they the incentives are brill), this is going to be an important network, and i cant think of a better coin to be hodling.

It's not an if, but a when DRK will replace LTC.

Darkcoin has:
A terrific dev that works on DRK everyday
Anonymous transactions through use of Masternodes, that also act as an incentive to hold the network up
A very ASIC resistant algo
DGW Shield
Future Ring Signatures and I2P

Litecoin has:
A silver logo
-Litecoin(LTC) has no chance...

That is not a panic. But it was exactly this type of post which turned me off on Litecoin

I don't really keep up with all the alt-coins because there are too many to keep track of. I don't really consider LTC to be an alt-coin,I just consider BTC and LTC to be the two main cryptos. I have never even heard of DRK to be honest... Dork coin?

I don't know why these pricks talk like they have a silver spoon up their ass. LTC offers nothing, nada , zilch. It is neither a store of value not a currency. Hope the anonymous coins open their brainwashed eyes. There has never been a smarter con job than some morons trying to push Litecoin as silver shit.

New, completely custom pool launched.

After more than a month of development on Simple Doge and Simple Vert. We are proud to announce Simple Dark mining pool We've built a completely custom mining server and frontend to let us bring new features to the mining community.

  • 1. Monitor your temperatures, fan speed, voltages, and much more from your phone or anywhere that has internet. After installing PowerPool Agent on your rig (don't worry, it's really easy) your stats page on our pool will show you an overview of the health of your rig.

PPAgent Currently supports cgminer and it's variants. CUDAminer support is planned for the future.
  • 2. No registration required. Simply point your miner to `stratum+tcp://stratum.simpledrk.com:3353` using your Dark address as your username and you're all setup. Optionally enter your username in the format `[Your Dark Address].[Worker Name]` and the graphs on your page will automatically split up by worker.

We look forward to seeing you there! If you have any feature suggestions, need some help getting setup, or just want to chat join our IRC channel.

Normal mining pool information:

* PPLNS payout system
* Default 1% donation with option to change to 0%
* Payout after every block found, no minimum balance, no payout fees

99% of early miners sold off their coins, check the blockchain for proof. Go back to your troll ditch.
I am no troll. I just wanted to know the truth, without hours of checking blockexplorers.
This is a discussion forum, I just asked a question.

I was confused because of all the FUD spreaded by real trolls and professional bag holders of other coins.
