Evan is holding 2 million DRK that were accidently insta-mined, right?
Wrong, he actually holds 4 million. Who can confirm this? Me, obviously. I think it might even be 5 million, he instamined coins that don't exist. I also instamined tens of thousands of coins... #testnet

Any chance you could link the post? Or do you happen to remember who it was made by so I can find it a little easier? It would be great if everyone could just link to it in the case of future trolling on this topic. That and the FAQ. Thanks.
It won't help (much). These trolls and professional FUD spreaders will (and are already doing this, Litecoin-Forum is full of it) tell you the devs sold the coins to themselves. The rich list has been buying DRK in the last few weeks. If you're wondering if you should be buying, this lot have been buying shit loads of DRK with shit loads of money, at prices that are much, much, much higher than when the coins were worth pennies. It would be possible I suppose to figure out roughly how much was paid in $/equivalent to accumulate that much DRK by looking at when it was bought and correlating with prices at the time. It's surreal to me that my DRK would put me almost in the top 100 if I had it all in the same wallet. My ancestors could be minor aristocracy in the future New Dark World Order...

since darktrolls wont let monero thread in peace, time to remember whats really in your hands:
derived from Quark type of algorithm: blake, bmw, groestl, keccak, jh, stein PoW and PoS This is the "I don't know shit about these coins but I will write about them like I am the godfather of all cryptocoins" kind of "research". They are unable to count to 11 (you know, DarkCoin's algorithm is labeled as X11 for a reason and they listed less than 11 algorithms) and they think it offers PoS which is false. May be these wouldn't be that big of a deal (may be the PoS, the number the algos doesn't really matter) but how could I believe in their professionalism after recognizing these obvious errors?

If he wants to sell for 9000 btc worth.. hes gonna need a lot more volume so im sure he has a lot more money than we think lol. Were gonna hit 100$+ and btc-e will help

The poll was too linear for something as wild, bouncy & exponential as DRK. Should maybe be more like... - $1000+
- $500-1000
- $250-500
- $125-250
- $64-125
- $32-64
- $16-32
- $8-16
- $4-8
- $2-4
- $1-2
- Less than $1

This is a micro view. We already have a mid-term view: I think fair value for now is around $100m, which is around the $25/DRK price point

WOW...Just WOW... Keep up the excellent work Dev's, most of the investors are investing in the Dev team's ability to manage a project...
No fake promises, no crappy untested code just delivery and innovation, which is what brings true value to a coin...
Let me know if there's anything I can do to help...

Just keep your expectations in line with the project's evolution: DarkSend Code is RC status, not final and bugs / frequent updates should be expected (= "crappy untested code"). Same with masternode payments which are a big hack to the block reward payment system affecting peripherals like stratum, p2pools etc. Final version + bugfixed should be out in around a month+.

Who is going to be the first to have their 1000drk stolen from their masternode? Once they find a way to get into the amazon servers then its a free for all Anyone recommend a good dedicated server?

Airgap your ssh key and use a strong wallet password. Your DRK will be safe. (I hope. ) edit: and multiple wallet backups, obviously.

Looking into the whole bitcoin stealth address thing, I still can't find a decent explanation for when you need to spend 10 bitcoins and you have 10 random addresses with 1 bitcoins each (created by your stealth address).
At the point you spend those 10 bitcoins - to say buy a motorbike from a dealer who will know you - they will also KNOW that all 10 of those random accounts belonged to you all along. They can also trace back to where those bitcoins came from.
So I can't see Mike Hearn's point about having our cake and eating it being right. Deliberate obfuscation or just plain wrong? Take your pick. Either way, I don't trust what Mike said.
I realise the bitcoin people are going to say coinjoin, coinjoin. But, what if big government had coopted coinjoin? or subpoenaed it in secret? or infiltrated it?
I still see a real need for DECENTRALISED PRIVACY. I view bitcoin and vertcoin's stealth address implementation as containing fundamental flaws in current form.
Feel free to use this to explain to anyone who still questions the need and idea of distributed masternodes. People have a basic right to privacy and the presumption of innocence.
