Big dump happening right now. Like anonymous1503xxx said, most of people in crypto have the attention ability of a 5 years old kid and that's why they need constantly new shiny things to look at and forget about what important. The same happened with DRK before so I won't surprise anymore. Instead, I'm glad to have cheap DRK again.

I did make some TA and posted in the Speculation thread over at Darkcointalk, Check it out https://darkcointalk.org/threads/07-june-ta-wedge-pattern.1142/Come over and comment IMO 0.016 is the bargain level right now

Would just add that with such low volume we could even break the bottom support @.016 without being overly concerned. If we do, I believe it will be a head fake. btw, where has all the volume gone? It's like traders taking vacation across the alts.

The market has overvalued the coin. It's now correcting. According to charts this correction is going to continue for a few days at least, if not a few weeks. If you think the market has the "attention ability of a 5 years old kid" then don't trade in it expecting to make gains. This run up started around 0.0015 which was the last stable level prior to Darksend coming out of beta. Even if it stabilises back at 0.008 it will still have given the coin a 500% revaluation which isn't to be sniffed at given the whole thing's an experiment, far less warranting people throwing their toys out of the pram. Most hedge funds are happy with a single figure return on investment in a year. Be happy & prosper

The market has overvalued the coin. Coin-numbers adjusted (same number of DRKs / LTCs = 4.3mn) litecoin stands at 74.28$. Are you sure?

But last two days you are more preaching towards a lower price since you stepped out with a large part of your coin. Maybe your right on your visions, but the visions tend to be in the direction of how many coins your holding I am beginning to notice...

The market has overvalued the coin. I can read a lot of pessimism in your comments. Yeah maybe you're right. But like I said I really don't care much about DRK price versus BTC. Right now I'm holding more DRK than BTC. Maybe I'm stupid in some others opinion but it just feels like I feel in love with DRK. . Coin-numbers adjusted (same number of DRKs / LTCs = 4.3mn) litecoin stands at 74.28$.

Freckleg, you're right. My own trading is consistent with my market observations as I've acted on those observations myself. Hopefully that adds some credibility to them. But if people want me to shut up when the market is going down and only comment when it's going up then I don't mind doing that.

Coin supply is only one half of the price equation. The other half is coin demand. There are many parts in the equation - Coin supply (~7 times less for DRK) - Coin demand - Coin utilization (anonymous market / private market - LTC can't cover that and by extension competes with Bitcoin - while DRK takes a new market all by itself) - Store of value: +28.800 coins per day vs +2880 coins per day for DRK - positioning DRK in a much more sustainable trajectory - Price potential: Due to the inflation barrier a coin cannot go any further in the market than the rate at which new coins can be absorbed. LTC can't go, say, double price to 0.034 and sustain itself there. It would require 636.000 USD per day to maintain its price, vs 63.600 USD per day for DRK at 0.034. - Future prospects in terms of coin characteristics: An evolving coin has better prospects than a static one. - Other features: DRK's ability to self-mine itself through nodes giving a 30-40-50% ROI, while LTC requires external investment to buy ASIC equipment and power Yeah, I can't see 74$ for Litecoin / 11$ for DRK, sorry

Current downward drift is just ADD traders, and the chance for people like me to grab more. Cold storage is working fine on testnet by the way...

/rant Overvalued? I don't think so.. Have you mined some of the shit out there right now? It's depressing. Right now volume is elsewhere. And honestly good luck with any of the pow+pos coins. quick up and slam down. Oh and with vague anonymity promises. DRK is the real deal and honestly will eventually be priced a lot higher. Right now evan and the team are working there asses for drk coin to succeed and we should be promoting each update, fending off fud and looking for places drk can be used in future. Once all the updates are done and dark achieves a stable price we need actual ways of using dark outside our crypto world. This is something we all can do. I'm all for learning about trading properly but trading on chart patterns is pretty self fulfilling. What I mean by this is if everyone believes shape x means Y then they will trade accordingly. Or play cat and mouse with the belief that other trades will follow Y. A chart only shows what came before and what's happening right now. After that is a more or less educated guess. The point of my ramble is to say traders will trade (they don't add to the value of the coin they aim to make profit) and right now they are trading other coins and we should be focusing on building the other fundamentals of an ecash. Places to spend. Markets, lending, etc. Adoption beyond the miner/crytpo trader environment in which we all play. That is what will make this coin unbeatable by competition. And will keep it stable (at a way higher price than it is now)
/rantover
TLDR Let's stop talking about chart patterns and start talking about getting DRK beyond our crypto zone. A private store of value for everyone. Safe secure ecash. With a kickass master node system that can add all sorts of functionality.

Would be so much safer (although it can already be extremely safe)
