Somewhat controversial.

The number of anon / privacy coins exploded after DRK exploded. Those that know what the deal is with BTC and the lack of privacy will have understood the need to have an anonymous crypto.

But, with so many competing options the message is spread so thinly it doesn't get elevated. Everyone loses.

Get behind 2-3 projects make those explode above $100m - $200m, then the pool for more privacy projects will be bigger.

Yeah, I know what you're thinking. Why should I support DRK at my xyz coin's expense? - Dream on DRK bag holder.

United we stand, divided you fall.

How many of us dream of owning 7k BTC.

These guys are dumping BTC by the thousands every few minutes.

Too many shitcoins out there. It's like water. The body is made up of 60% of the stuff. It's essential for life. Go a few days without it and you die. Drink too much of it and you thin the blood and it kills you.

edit.

DRK FTW.

I have a good friend who got me into crypto and he was kickin himself for cashing out his BTC @600$ but now I'm sure he is glad he did. He got in when u could still mine btc with a gpu and be profitable and mined around 1200 coins which were worthless at the time but he was able to make mega profits by waiting and looking past the fud. There were times when in btc's early days when a lot of so called experts were predicting its demise saying it couldn't go past 30$ and of course just as a example that crypto markets can't be 100% predictable it instead climbed to 100$ & 200$ and up. Point being no matter what I hear FUDer's say about drk I truly believe that as long as the dev team keeps inovating and pissing off the competitors I know drk will have a grand future in the crypto world no matter how many opponents wish for it's demise. Long live DRK

Does anyone know when it will open Mintpal?

Right after Karpeles figures out what his cat did with the money, so he can re-open Mt.Gox, I am starting to guess.

Soooo...when do we start assuming MintPal, or someone else, has lost or stolen all DRK held at MintPal and so we start driving DRK price up because there are a million fewer DRK all a sudden?

I own a DASH Masternode.... And you should too.

You mean: "When do we start to fear that somebody is about to dump huge amounts of several altcoins on other exchanges for BTC (and/or fiat directly in case of LTC and DRK) and continue to dump BTC for fiat?"
Well, I officially did (start to worry, not to believe that it is happening already, just worry...).
But I had a bad feeling about BTC prices and mintpal before it all started (I withdrawn everything from mintpal and Kraken, so I won't loose or panic-sell the coins).

If that would happen it would be blood on the streets for many many weeks if not months. But neither I think so ....

If they dump drk down below $0.01, I will sell what I can to buy as many as possible.  Here's hoping.

If Mintpal has lost the lot. Well shit happens. Someone needs to go to jail.

If it's just incompetence. They will die as an exchange.

Cheap BTC means cheap DRK, at least for now. I'm on a buying spree currently - dark (or at least grey) markets are the future, and BTC is busted in that department. And CN clones are just, well, completely shit for real world use. Their bloatchains grow faster than you can download them, and that's with nothing but traders. Forget widespread adoption, ever.

Which leaves DRK. Smiley

I'd be on a buying spree if my fucking bank didn't intercept every single large transaction I make to make extra fraud checks.   This is fucking stupid.  They're meant to be spotting abnormal transactions!

There really isn't anything stopping moohla from jacking all the funds left on mintpal, nobody knows his real name and only a couple of people have met him IRL and only a handful of people have seen him on grainy skype video. I'm glad I didn't dick around and got everything off of there

Moohla's v2 plan reads just like a shitcoin ANN - "We are going to all this amazing stuff, in a weekend, with no bugs!"

OK.

If in the UK, use the new current account switch out service. gets your standing orders and what not transferred in 7 days.  Do that a couple of times to shake them off.
