ok i have a plan.. the swarm is going well on coinmarketcap.. shouldnt be too long before they add us.. but we need to keep the momentum going! if it stops then all interest will be lost.. we're fairly jogging now at this pace.. i want us sprinting! all engines firing! has anyone got a list of crypto news outlets, top twitter accounts for spreading news, ect ect.. once nem is listed on coinmarketcap thats my go signal to start sending the investors contract to all news related twitters, facebooks websites ect ect.. once iv sent it to as many as possible i want everyone to start emailing, tweeting, posting on facebook so on and so on. if we move swiftly with strong momentum we can make serious waves in the crypto community.. but we gota keep this momentum up! once news outlets start posting articles based on the info from the investors contract and also all the reasons you guys are invested in nem it will snowball really fast.. once its spread through crypto world can caused major tsunamis, we move to bigger seas with bigger waves.. russiatoday. max kieser show.

One observation though, while it is very good to help roll the snowball and turn it into an avalanche, it is important to note that the dynamics of our movement will be very different of that of a pump and dump coin. Pump and dump coins exist only as long as their hype exists after that people move on. We are not here to hype it as much as we can, sell our coins and leave. On the contrary, our snowball has just begun rolling, remember this is only the very beginning and we have a long and exciting way ahead, from here on this will be every day bigger and faster until it all becomes unstoppable. There will be no scenario where it all stops and all the interest will be lost. NEM, as we will see is a whole other kind of creature, probably the first of its kind and the next logical step on the evolutionary scale, so I it will take some time until people will finally understand and make sense of that.

very good points.. but the difference is.. nem isnt just another shit coin.. every other shit coin that gets hyped up over next to nothing gets pumped and dumped! do you think people will pump and dump ethereum? no.. because of strong marketing and the fact that it has genuine promise means people will buy and hodl it! hype coins and pump and dumps only apply to coins with nothing really going for them.. so even if we market the crap out of nem now.. its more or less safe from the shit hypecoin pump and dump scene.. because people will see the huge potential of nem and hold it! we are a whole 10 floors above the shit coin floor where all the pumper dumpers live.. we need to push nem into the forefront of crypto and SHOW people that nem isnt just another alt.. so the question of how do we do that arises... and thats by pushing our way on to the main window display of the crypto mega store by marketing ourselves with full force and with everything we got.
right now we got 5.4 million market cap and #15 highest market cap(if we were on it) with no software releases no client no logo no nothing... that is something major to shout about! but we havent got this for long! once alpha comes out we loose that arrow! fire it! make the most of every damn thing we got and get ourselves known... people will take notice of this and think to them selves ya i gota keep an eye out on that.. anyone who posted an article about us will be waiting for the next thing to right about us.. why the hell cant we be just as eagerly anticipated as ethereum! all we need is the marketing! you name for me one thing ethereum has right now that puts them infront of us in the crypto race? marketing and thats it! the route we take with marketing will make a huge difference as to whether we make it or break it! i say fire every damn bullet we got! and remember.. its only "hype" if theres nothing really to be excited about.. there is with nem.. which means it wont just be a hype-pump-dump-die coin.. we have 3000 stake holders, most of which havnt sold a thing and dont plan on selling any.. whos guna do the dumping? :L the pumpers wont have much luck, it would cost them too much to be able to pump it..

I think we should proceed with marketing in two ways:
1) using guerila-style, immediately rewarding marketing which includes all you have said before and some of what I have said in my marketing proposal and here:
In addition to what I suggested in the marketing proposal brought before, I think there are 2 things which will bring an immediate and huge amount of attention and cash flow into NEM: 1) Launch and get a place into top 10 -15 on coinmarketcap and 2) do everything necessary to bring NEM on one of the premiere and most popular exchanges.1

1 I think although counter-intuitive, this may be one of the most effective ways to bring volume into our currency, go into the spotlight and market ourselves at the beginning. Mintpal looks better than most exchanges and sucks less. But more importantly it is the premier exchange for altcoins, has good customer service, has not been compromised or hacked until now, people have traded already thousands of btc/day on it and have btc at disposal there. Blackcoin reached its peak on and probably because of mintpal, same with darkcoin. If we would get on mintpal the result would certainly worth it. It would probably be the easiest way to make btc flow into NEM. From experience I can tell the reputation of the exchange on which the coin is listed is an important predictor of limits in coins volume, meaning people will no way trade 100btc in one trade on bittrex or poloniex but would comfortably do so on mintpal. This is why coins like balckcoin and darkcoin have made it their mission to reach mintapl. The fact is that when almost any coin is created, it generally gets first listed on bittrex and poloniex. After a couple of days, if the coin is interesting enough and it attracts more than 100btc daily volume, the coin is secretly evaluated by mintpal to be added there. Some are added only when they reach 500btc/day volume, some are added only through voting and even paying for voting. Some are never added because it's probably too hard.(NXT is a good example.) The was a time when cryptsy was the premier altcoin exchange, but that time has passed and cryptsy seem to be heading the wrong way.
When a coin grows in price and volume, we generally tend to attribute all the credit to interesting things like innovation, marketing and other stuff, missing the point that the market is a bit more complex and often counter-intuitive in many ways, and the majority of price increase and volume may in fact come from manipulation which is strictly coordinated to accompany innovation and good news(see bitcoin and dogecoin manipulation examples). In the same way, I think we tend to overemphasis the short term effect of innovation, marketing and other stuff over getting listed on a very popular and relatively trustworthy exchange. But looking at the facts and experience, the latter in close coordination with the former may be responsible for the most part. It may even be so due to initiation of some complex chain of events that is utterly invisible at this point. Think 80/20 principle but instead of 20 put 1 or 2 factors.
2) long term/high impact marketing(this is what ethereum is doing):
Besides that, one of the most important things we could do for NEM in the long term is find one or more persons which should be "the faces" of NEM at conferences, interviews, and do what Vitalik Butering does for Etherium, capturing the imagination of technical people and intelligentsia by kindling intelligent discussions and intellectual experiments regarding how NEM works, what we can and could do with it, what problems of previous coins we solve, etc. This is the highest point we need to target, which if we do correctly, will overflow and bring news about NEM into all other sub-layers of society.
