what are the positives as a buyer if I own 1500 ETHS?

If you own Ethereum, your coins increased in value by 20% over the last weeks. Considering the drop in the stock market, it is quite impressive.

Can someone explain to a noob how Ethereum and Augur are connected? Is Ethereum the only coin you'll be able to use on Augur? Will Ethereum's value go up if Augur is successful?

ETH @ 0.003 is soo damn cheap. When compared to other coins that are basically bitcoin with a dif algo and coin supply. ETH is truly next gen crypto.
If ltc & dash are worth more than $3, right now ETH price should be equal ( or higher ) and when all the new stuff is out ltr this yr you can easily see it being worth $1bill+ market cap, making each coin worth $10+
ETH is seriously underpriced and this is a long overdue price correction.  Wink

wow....token anonymization,  https://blog.ethereum.org/2016/01/15/privacy-on-the-blockchain/    ( posted yesterday by VB)  also check out  http://enigma.media.mit.edu/enigma_full.pdf

"Another kind of technology that has very powerful properties is zero-knowledge proofs, and specifically the recent developments in “succinct arguments of knowledge” (SNARKs). VB

"A technology which is moderately technically complicated, but extremely promising for both token anonymization and identity applications, is ring signatures......There is also an upgraded version of a ring signature called a linkable ring signature" VB

ETH going anon !  Looking good  Cool

The market cap of bitcoin is already higher than Dash and most other altcoins. It is just lower than litecoin which is more established.

I agree!  ETH has a lot more advance technology than litecoin.  When ETH becomes mainstream it will reach $20 per ETH.

Comparing technology and future possibilities of Ethereum an Litecoin is like comparing horse carriage with the modern car of today.

If, and I repeat IF Ethereum delivers everything that Devs are talking about and if we end up with a robust and dependable blockchain in the process of development, the price of $20 is a peanuts.

$100+ per coin would be a real value in my opinion. Of course, let's not fool ourselves. The road in front is very hard and bumpy and it will take a lot of patience, skill and hard work of the whole community for this to come true.

cmon guys.. i mean.. cmon .... ;p
ask yourself, is eth even necessary for the tech behind it? nope, nxt bitshares bithalo, so many platforms already do what eth does.
i over a year, eth has;
spent 20+million dollars. produced not even a wallet (done maybe 2 months ago and still recommneded not to use)
lots of hype
asks the users to make all dapps, hasent done anything but gave us an idea
no reason to hold, dead money waiting for jesus to make it worth something
inflation. people are still mining, but theres no use for eth but to sell
you got scammed just dont wanna admit it.
wheres the dev btw? offline 6+months partying and lobbying?
all these news stores are just hype, but hey we said that 6 months ago, and yall still "to da moon"
o AND;   if you bought presale you never even got your money back as it hasnet even hit presale yet (0.004btc) except when it was released but dev dumped more and price droppped in one day
o and one more thing; THEIR BROKE. you will be lucky if homestead even happens
but hey give vitalik some more money, seems well spent. lmao

the blog...   o u mean the one where the last 2 posts were one of a dev leaving, and the most recent was a blog post RECOUPING HIS WHOLE WHITE PAPER AGAIN?!!? like really.
and monday will tell but then what?   homestead? a few more command line scripts the normal users can even make anything with? yay   ... -_-
more promises of what tech can do? more partnerships, tht have produced nothing but hype (so far) sweet we know tech is great
