Any idea when it will be listed on the regular exchanges?
It's a totally new System.. Hardly compareable to any bitcoin or altcoin.. It's also not compatible to any of the normal rpc Calls.. It's a bit like Sia.. Only much better imho It will probably take some time until it is exchanged, mine it as long as you can

Where you guys get updates from? Vitak has not been logged in for 4 month.
On ethereum related sites. Their own forum, reddit, Twitter, website, blog etc... etc... Doubt he needs to be logged in here.

how to mine Ethereum? please guide for newbies
Ethereum is a scam. They don't have a nice miner yet They ran an ICO with no transparency. Unfair mining launch. Very poor coin.

You cannot. Ethereum was too much known before the launch to give space to amateur miners. You would be competing with professionals that have years of experience, huge GPU farms and very low electricity cost. It would be like trying to mine Bitcoin with your own hardware : a waste of time and money unless you are just interested in learning.

Hey everyone, if that chat log isn't fake then ethereum is headed for disaster, or call it what you may.. 1. they only have until the end of 2015 to fund developers 2. total chaos governs their collaboration methods. these guys and gals were actually brainstorming on how to set up a functioning organization, how to communicate among teams and how to sell the news to funders that more money is needed for the project to get anywhere. AND this was in May, just 2 months ago and after a year of doing serious work behind the scenes Whatever the truth, $18m was burned and nothing to show for If the chat log is legit, then the launch of the "coin" was a desperate move to at least show the public "something".. The other thing I don't get is, why is it taking days for the first transaction to happen? Shitcoins are launched and mined every day and seem to work just fine.

Shitcoins are launched and mined every day and seem to work just fine. shitcoins are just Bitcoin forks with a couple lines added / changed... Ethereum wants to become something completely different of what a regular shitcoin developer is even capable of thinking of... How big is the dev. Team of Ethereum? Like 36 developer plus finance and marketing? So if they have over 50 Fully paid employees the 18m$ Funding is not that much in the end if they need even more time to create a complete new system..

So let's say that $18m isn't that much considering the size of their team. How much more dev work is needed for Ethereum to be the big thing that everyone expects it to be? One more year maybe? That's another $9m to keep them afloat from January 2016. Anyone here ready to invest? Or "donate" as they like to call crowd funders

Ethereum ipo investors took a huge risk buying last summer. Not only did they have no idea when or if they would ever see these tokens, bitcoin value has dropped to less than half since they bought in - meaning they need the ether price in satoshis to more than double just to break even. While I think they deserve nice profits for their risk, it won't be from me - this is one show I'm not paying to watch.

As ETH trades for 5x+ IPO price currently, skeptics like you and I are left holding our dicks. Doesn't make sense why a currency with a broke dev team is trading at 100m market cap, but maybe we're wrong as our sidelined BTC goes to 0 and ETH goes to $1000.

That doesn't mean much if the IPO purchases can't be redeemed anywhere....unless I've missed something? Where can they be redeemed?
