English being amongst the easiest languages to express with often causes misunderstandings.
What he probably meant was ... when some (people) "cash out" in BTC - convert their funds from ETH to BTC.
All of a sudden the supply of ETH will be way overwhelming the demand.

Why would ETH need to be converted to BTC when you can convert it to fiat (on Kraken for example)?
And if Augur guys believe in their project, they shouldn't make ETH price crash. Well, they can for a reasonable amount, and in small batches, but otherwise it's shooting on your own foot.

personally i dont get Augur. they forked an alpha ethereum after ethereum had only just been released. they are presumably gonna run a pretty centralized blockchain on software very much in its infancy. why do they not run Augur on the ETH blockchain for example? Ive tweeted at Augur but never any comments re these topics. Obv lots of people wanna make a quick buck and assume they'll sell their presale at great profit. Im not so sure its gonna pan out like that.

Ethereum could eventually host the greatest decentralized gambling site/service but Augur seems a little premature and centralized.

Augur is an Ethereum fork?  I thought it was just a series of smart contracts and a front-end?

My understanding is that Augur is a fork and will not run on the Ethereum blockchain, yes. The project Szabo is involved in, Etherplan, does run on the Ethereum chain. See http://dapps.ethercasts.com/ and look for Augur

Everyone seems to be bearish on ETH. Do you think the Augur sale will cause ETH to crash when ETH will be converted to BTC after the end of Sep.

ETH is heading to lower than 50 cent levels this month.

There is around a week before the end of Sep. 50 cents at the end of this month is very ambitious. I don't thnik anyone have that much coin to dump to 50 cents.

Blazin8888 is a troll . Last week he said Vitalik would be forking ETH. LOLOLOL. He wants cheap ETH and has about as much clue about upcoming events as the Groundhog who predicts the end of winter (<3 Bill Murray).

How to choose only 3 GPU from 4 in ethminer cause the first one is a 6450 and the last three 290. Why i can't just type opencl-device 1,2,3 or something ? What the hell is -t 3 it just trying mine on all cards or only one if opencl_device 1 was chosen.

Is there a cmd to print-devices from a .bat file?

I see that there is a --print-devices for linux.

With --opencl-device 0 you can select which GPU you want to use.
So your .bat file would look like this (if you are solo mining)
ethminer -G --opencl-device 0
ethminer -G --opencl-device 1
ethminer -G --opencl-device 2

I'd like to know how to list devices so we know what we are working with.

--list-devices
--print-devices

do not work in windows.

ethminer -F http://192.168.1.1:8546/miner/8/gpu-rig4 -G --opencl-device 3

Doesn't work, only first 290.

Actually i know how to solve this issue, make 3 folders and 3 .bat but looks ugly, isn't ?

I'd like to know how to list devices so we know what we are working with.

--list-devices
--print-devices

do not work in windows.

Yeah, i want to know also

See what I am trying to accomplish is ethminer cpu and gpu at the same time but if I run one and then the other, I get a DAG error and app crash. Like DAG is trying to be shared and cannot be shared.

uhg this is frustrating.

Ha ha, what a miner. Make 3 folders with opencl-device 1 opencl-device 2 opencl-device 3 flags in .bat Run first is ok, run second it try use 6450 and crash because of out of memory (of course it will crash) run third it crash trying use 6450. Very nice... And --list-devices do not work in windows. But via cgminer i know what are my devices. I'm disappointed.

Mining eth doesn't look to promising, does it?

I'm just testing new software and coin wallets. So this coin with ugly wallet like xmr (no, xmr at least accept proper copy paste in console unlike eth) and strange miner. Don't know what to say.

Which --opencl-device n i didn't set it mine only one 290 from 3 in the system. If i set only -G, it stuck with warning about 6540 out of memory.

If i type in .bat like this it mine only one card also. So it's a bug or something...

ethminer -G --opencl-device 0
ethminer -G --opencl-device 1
ethminer -G --opencl-device 2
