So, Alex Van De Sande thinks ETC is not worth having!
Please, tell Alex Van De Sande to send over to me those worthless ETHC!

He was in the first steps of the DAO hack, but not in the later stages. He has no access to the DAO ETC.

So becoin should ask other DAO hackers white or black to return the ETHC. Or he can buy them on the market.
pro eth group does not understand that  this questions are  not against eth eth is a gread project but the leading group is shady

if something happens a good leader comes forwart with all details so no doupt is left towarts the leaders or the project.

but ethereum foundation is not speaking and not publishing, in every detail what was going on.

transperancy is the clue in here

i hope you all understand how important that is for the futur of a world computer

ETH-fork is dead?
Why the '?' mark? Of course, it's dead.
Nobody will use ETHF as fuel for their smart contracts if ETHC is x6 cheaper.
You sell 1 ETHF and get 6 ETHC... Wow... What a deal.
Thank you die hard forkers! Keep up the support for ETHF price!

That is great news. The Expanse, SOIL is even cheaper. You should use those coins for the smart contracts.
Irrelevant.
There is no difference between ETHF and ETHC whatsoever. They are identical in every single bit of their technicalities. The only difference is that ETHF is forkable at the discretion of Ethereum central bankers if they decide to bail out greedy and stupid investors.

At present, you can sell one ETH and buy seven ETC. Maybe you can buy more ETC in the near future.

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/ethereum-races-ahead-raidens-implementation-lightning-network/

Brainbot Technologies, a blockchain development, and consulting company, just released the first implementation of the Raiden Network, which, similar to the Lightning Network, is a layer two protocol on top of Ethereum’s blockchain, significantly increasing Ethereum’s transaction capacity from the current estimated 20 transactions per second to tens of thousands.

The first proof of concept version conceptually solves all aspects “and it can work on the current Ethereum blockchain as it is,” according to Heiko Hees, an Ethereum core developer and CEO of Brainbot, with a “hardened” beta version planned for winter 2016.
One can have a decentralized exchange, therefore, run on the Raiden Network, or, machine to machine payments at a global scale as the network scales linearly with the number of participants. If you add another intelligent machine to the network, for example, you are also adding capacity at the same time to such extent that one might say its scalability is as good as unlimited.

To prove the point, a demo of 100,000 transactions per second is planned for the end of August, turning into reality the long spoken dream of microtransactions which could replace or complement advertising and save the publishing industry.

In combination with Ethereum’s plans for on-chain scalability through sharding, the Raiden Network allows ethereum’s public blockchain to handle any imaginable blockchain application, thus solving the scalability problem and shifting the ecosystem’s focus to securing digital currency and to the implementation of many new applications made possible by blockchain’s invention.

So in around 3weeks we could witness something truly revolutionary for all of crypto...WOW, if this is pulled of 1ETH will be over $25 overnight and the buy pressure will be huuuuuuuuuge.   Smiley

Please don't disturb those ETC trolls running their ad hominem attacks at this ETH board.  Grin
lol
Seriously this is the time to BUY OR CRY  Cool
This is what ETH needs for its journey to become #1 Crypto.

Looks like they are losing their collective mind.
At [ANN] [ETC] Ethereum Classic: Immutable Smart Contracts pages and pages are filling up with their "ETH mug shot poster".
I'm sure ETC devs c/p experts will be refusing running such dirty code written by scumbags and villains Grin

i dont get it...if they have lost money...go get a lawyer...lol

I gave those ETC folks the direct phone number so they now can call Zhe German Police.   Grin
But since German Police is often still running Win95 machines they'll have to wait for some years until upgrades are ready. lol

lol that would be funny trying to explain this to a cop.

ETH is gonna go nuts for next 3weeks and then if its pulled of and ETH shows over 100k txps we could witness a huge BTC dump as ETH becomes #1 coin for the big guys to move funds.  Smiley

Ya'll are so easily manipulated by Mr tits here lol, #1 coin, gonna take bitcoin down lollll!!! But thanks pumpertits for the pump really, despite your tendency to bullshit your a good man.

In Reply:

You guys and gals do realise: amongst GPU miners there is a huge pro-Fork movement.

This pro-Fork movement has going for many years, and there are:

Smaller Alt Coins, who have specifically Hard Forked from non-GPU algorithms too GPU algorithms too treble their BTC price per coin.

Who will contribute to the development of ETC if it does not have the support from a Foundation, maybe from hakcers?

This is probably the wrong place to ask but did the DAO hacker took coins from ETC? or the forked ETH? and if so why would people continue to support a blockchain with vulnerabilities?

Ethereum itself, the original or the fork have no vulnerabilities. It was the DAO that had vulnerabilities. Even with the $100,000 cost of the security audit they still released insecure code that held $150,000,000. That shows their incompetence.

haha well thanks for clearing that up, a lot of people are saying that by supporting ETC classic we are supporting the DAO hacker so I was confused.

With Bitcoin, the value of each coin around $580; it has a high number of transactions across the Network, which generates revenue.

Consequently, the Bitcoin Network generates just enough revenue to fund Network Upgrades once every 6 to 7 years.

The goal of the Ethereum Foundation is:

To begin with Extra Funding, so the new ETH Network reaches maturity at a much faster pace, than a Network which has no Foundation.

The idea being, the Foundation turbo charges the pace at which the Network matures or upgrades, which would otherwise take 6-7 years to happen as indicated by Bitcoin's development history.

This is without a shadow of a doubt the BIGGEST news i have seen for crypto since....crypto,lol and this is what is required to elevate us all to real mainstream adoption.
This 100k+ txps putting us on par with Visa/Mastercard and potentially even 1m+txps in the near future was a fantasy...however in 3WEEKS we will see it for real!  Smiley Smiley
