OK people, can someone pls give me excatly instruction what to do in win 10 x64 to make this wallet work again. I downloaded new wallet, placed exe file in eth wallet, deleted everything related with old wallet (even tryed without deleting) and it creates 2 folders in Roaming folder (Ethereum, Ethereum Wallet) and I dont know how are they related because every time when I run wallet by v0.8.3, wallets created do not show but they are created in keystore (same if I insert my wallet file). If I use v0.8.2.exe then they show. So keystore is not recognised by v0.8.3 but chaindata is because sync starts when I run it. Both are in Ethereum folder. And what about this Ethereum Wallet folder? Why are 2 folders created?

You need to access hidden data folder for Ethereum and delete the old blockchain for 0.8.2 in Windows 10.

Before doing that:

1) Save the Keystore folder to a temporary location and usb drive.

2) Delete the rest of old hidden Ethereum folder for 0.8.2 in W10 hidden appdata folder

3) Install and run 0.8.3 and download the blockchain.

4) Close down when blockchain has finished downloading and then go to the new hidden Ethereum Folder and put you Keystore folder back where it was.

Re-open 0.8.3 client and everything should be shinny new

Hi,
I'm a bit confused by the last releases of Ethereum wallet/Mist, and sorry if my question has been already asked.
Now they are not in a zip file, but in an "installer"
But when I run an installer the software is supposed to be installed on the system and I'm not supposed to "install" it again to run the program.
So, is it the design of the softwares or they are really installed and in this case I havn't found where (there is nothing to specify the installation directory)
Do you know how it's works, where they are installed ?

Looks like the latest one are installers.

They install into the user/app directories and not in program files.

On my Windows box they appear here:

How exactly do you mean?  I see this as very little difference from current functionality with say, Coinbase.  The only difference is, users will be able to directly buy eth using fiat from their Santander account, as opposed to having to enter in bank account info before being able to buy eth.  In what capacity would a bank ever be able to issue (unlimited) crypto tokens such as eth?  This announcement is not Santander issueing eth, it's Santander offering the capability to buy eth directly with funds from your bank account.  Those are 2 very very different things.

This will be nothing like that. You'll have to be their customer and only send to other customers. You think they'll have decentralized fiat and go to jail for money laundering? Everyone here is just pumping. Tether already exists and is difficult to use with all the aml/kyc.

Nothing happened at devcon except cashethf which first already exists as tether and secondly, isn't useful with aml/kyc and forks. I do not see a future for etherium other than the foundation criminals continuing to dump on bagholders until they're done. Most went home and dumped more to get back their Shanghai hooker money.
