I think $400 could be in a few months when the effect of the recent upgrade is felt.

Ethereum price will still rise up as time goes by. I believe that, see so many ICOs now running through ethereum token. Holding for long time is best strategy but not so good.

Don't give up, Ethereum will go up sooner or later. ETH has some great upside potential. Seems like it take some time to go beyond. If we see it break towards $355, it could be hit $400.

Now a days I see a lot of projects that trying to tokenize well known blockchains on ethereum.

I think there are more projects than needed, of course most of them will die eventually. More Ethereum based tokens launch ICO's, more collected ETH by projects. You expect them to dump some, but that doesn't bring the price down too much. I think general environment is healthy right now.

Did the price actually go up pre-fork because some thought they would get a new coin out of this? That would explain why price is going down now(no new coin), I mean the fork was a success so price should be rising.

No, anyone who follows Eth knew it was only a hard fork, not a chain split.

Market price is volatile. It's not a perfect 1:1 correlation to how successful the tech is; certainly not within a timeframe of a couple days...

Who said etc will be pos too?

Pretty sure some etc guys said they aren't adapting Ethereum's PoS update. In any case, etc is a bad buy regardless of price

The fork seems to have been useless for the eth price. And I can understand this. What sense does it make to have a coin with wallets that barely can be made to synchronize. Even parity syncs so slow that it is a pain.

I don't see something worthy happening as long as vitalik doesn't fork something that brings a proper solution to this situation.

ETX will capture the market, but will do it on the next wave, but for now until the new year it makes sense to wait out in bitcoins or in ETC

We need to wait further for the bitcoin gold fork.  Majority are dumping altcoins for bitcoin since the incoming fork of bitcoin will give you equal number of bitcoins you are hodling.

the original concept of the ETH implied the transition to the Pos, Vitalik doesn't want to translate, then it should make ETC, if it adheres to the original concept 

POS is the respect of nature, why make the asics if we can do without them..

I feel that this is quite normal. Because the price already went up (in term of USD) before the fork.
