Is there any time frame when Casper will go live?
First they need to finish Metropolis - with Constantinople (most probably a fork will happen) Then they need to finish Serenity - with (no info how many forks) Then Proof of Stake with Casper will come. All info on reddit and so is outdated, so nobody can say when, but I don't see it finishing in 2018. |

I do not use whatever powerful reason for ETH to be rising so fast yesteryear times. This only shows in my experience this is an artificial pump motor and can surely be followed by a deep dip. Question is: is it worthwhile to purchase it once this drop occurs?Looking at those impressive hiccups, I believe it is a good option for buying and selling...
Would be appreciated if someone suggest a fundamental method to evaluate worth of coins (especially ETH). Up to now the only thing i have heard about is that value (better marketcap) is proportionality related to 2nd power of network distribution. But i think there are many other important parameters like transactions volume, fees ... That should be considered to find a more accurate approach. |

Ethereum could soon launch its first Casper testnet. Ethereum developers are looking to use code for their experimental Casper proof-of-stake protocol as the basis for a new test network. During a core developer meeting today, ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin said that not only is Casper ready to be tested, but that it could provide a security boost when testing code across clients.
