This kitty thing does really congest the ETH network. I am pretty scared that now as this kind of thing was invented, there might be copyCATS that come up with similar things and then the network will be fully unusable. Im really scared of the consequences this might have for the whole space, this definitely shows the limits of the ETH network, so my question is: isnt there somehow a way to restrict these kind of dapps from being connected to the network until there is a solution for the scalability?

ETH is still young and growing. I have no fear that it will have its day
Bitcoin is still jacked and I certainly prefer to use other alt's to transfer value

Lmao. Did it get fixed yet? It's not like it's a bug that needs to be fixed. It's a scaling problem, the same problem EVERY blockchain out there has. Please, point me to a chain that's processing as many transactions/day as Ethereum is. I'll wait.  |

It's not the dapp that matters. It's the number of users. 10-20% of the fastest chain (by transactions/day) is a shit ton of traffic. |

Time to buy this dip.This is a temporary drop. Ethereum is slow runner. It is all about timing, HODL tight and enjoy the early of 2018. Advice, don't panic sell. My strategy is a long-term hold and then just keep buying every month especially in dipping.
I agree with you, don't panic sell. Better to hold ETH for long term investment and patience is the best way to get high profits. I am sure the team of ethereum now working hard to solve this problem. |
