I believe that the 2018 Ethereum market value beyond bitcoin, although in the face of strong pressure from the June EOS main line, the pressure I believe ETH will progress more quickly.

This year I think we have a really good chance that ETH will cross the market cap of BTC.

no chance. especially, when ICOs are getting hit from left and right. ETH will be lucky to get back to ATH this year. I bought the dip so thats not my wish, just a realistic estimate.

Don't know man maybe it just my gut feeling (ETH will cross BTC cap) which is why I keep buying as much cheap ETH as I can

prepared 166 thousand bitcoins for sale-this is half the amount of all glasses to buy, we can only hope that people for the dollars will buy the crypt again, but it is unlikely it will be bitcoin, it is psychologically difficult to overpay for too, most likely to buy will be ETH, ETC and NEO, which then did not exist

Ethereum saw a strong rally in 2017 because of ICOs but don't worry, it's not that we won't see more ICOs in 2018, just less scam ICOs and I'm happy about this

I think this thread should be renamed Welcome to the Future ;-), even though the price has dipped in the last month, ETH has truly been transformative in the crypto / blockchain space.. the only smart contract with thousands of projects on it, partnering with businesses via the Ethereum Alliance etc..  I dont think we have even touch the tip of the potential of ETH yet, with resolution for scalability in viw i expect ETH to continue to be ground breaking

That's true, I guess all those crack downs on icos will filter scams. So it's possible that strong projects will better perform this year. Last year, a few really good projects didn't get attention because of crowded space

In a first-of-a-kind transaction happening Friday, all it takes to switch from the old world of centralized clearing houses to the frontier of decentralized blockchains is the press of a button.
A company called Marex Solutions is issuing two separate structured notes. Both notes were created using ResonanceX, an investing platform built by Guillaume Chatain, a former managing director at JPMorgan Chase. The first note will be settled the old-fashioned way, on Clearstream, the European clearing house.
But the second, otherwise identical note will be registered, cleared and settled on the public ethereum blockchain. All the issuer has to do to change this parameter is select a different option from the drop-down menu on ResonanceX's dashboard.

i think we should not lose our trust on crypto but if people wants to sell then
atleast wthey should save some coins and hold until the storm pass and red bath done
and about ICOs i think not all of them sell everything maybe 30 to 40% they sell but still they are holding and they sell when eth cross 1000$ again

It will stop eventually and then go back up and even higher than before. Sometime after the big pump, an even bigger dump will happen and the cycle will continue. This is the nature of a market. I've never been so stressed in my life, but we just have to accept this and continue living the crypto life.

Whenever this downtrend will stop it has one direction from there and that is upwards. There are lot of opinions some expecting a new all time mega high bull run being formed from this continuous decline in next couple of months. We are still in first quarter and long way ahead to end of year and this takes just couple of days to reverse the trends. Stay tuned and learn from this current situation.

Crackdown on ICO does not means the ICO will go but it will be regulated . This means we'll still have plenty of projects that will need Ether but this won't go through the same user friendly process . It will be tougher to do an ICO and the investors should become accredited but the startup and ICO will always be here.
