Ethereum is the infrastructure of cryptocurrency space.
It is the most widely used one in the market. Sky is the limit.

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

Last week Weiss Ratings released a report that assigned grades to dozens of cryptocurrencies based on a number of metrics, like risk, technological innovation, and other fundamentals.
There were amazing things in report.. One of them was that none of the cryptocurrencies rated received an "A".
Another surprise was that Ethereum received a higher  Cool grade than Bitcoin and Ripple.
Yesterday Ethereum surpassed $1,200, hope so next month it will be at above $1,300.

There is much more active development in ETH than any other currency. So it is reasonable for it to be B. It could also be the first A in the future.

Below is a sampling of Weiss Cryptocurrency Ratings, selected randomly to illustrate a variety of strengths and weaknesses:

Bitcoin (rated C+) gets excellent scores for security and widespread adoption. But it is encountering major network bottlenecks, causing delays and high

Exactly, ETH along with EOS are the highest ranked. Here are the rest:

B Grade - ETH and EOS.
B- Grade - ADA, NEO and Steem.
C+ Grade - ARK, BTC, BTS, GBYTE, DASH, DCR, IOC, LTC and NEM.

C Grade - AEON, ASCH , BLK, BLOCK, BURST, BCN, XCP, DOGE, ETC, KMD, LSK, MNR, NAV, NBL, NXS, NXT, PPC, PIVX, QTUM, XRB and XRP.
C- Grade - BCH, CLOAK, DGB, POT, XDN, ETN, FTC, NMC, RDD, SKY, UBQ, VIA, XWC and ZEN.
D+ Grade - AUR, BTG, EMC2, GAME, NLG, MEC, ETP and PURA.
D Grade - EXP, GUP, NVC, QUARK, RISE and SALUS.

Is this actually trustable or better yet usable and important enough? Never heard of this Weiss company. Do they hold Merritt?

No Merit --> no trustworthiness! Tongue It's always difficult with these rating agencies. We have seen that in the past outside of crypto and as more money is flowing into crypto, we will have manipulative rating agencies here as well. Also never heard of Weiss...

Even much hard to predict what future will bring to this platform but at the moment this market with bullish trend. ETH is providing facility to other startup project to use this platform and enter into this infinity world where they have unlimited opportunities.

I agree with that. It is one of the two crypto currencies rated with B grade. It is widely recognised as a superior coin.

Hello Ethereum community!

We are also supporters of Ethereum technology, but the C4Coin network proposes a carbon-negative Proof-of-Burn/Proof-of-Stake hybrid consensus mechanism. What if every dApp also fought climate change?

Please leave us some feedback on our pre-ann post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2844658.0

LOL, major gains imposed by rich people whom are manipulating the price on all the exchanges. Bitcoin is $300 higher on Bittrex cause there is where they are selling the bitcoin they get on the other exchanges at a cheaper price. Hell I sold mine and will wait until they get done and the price will collapse as always...You can make money today buying on one exchange and transferring to the other. This will not last folks, its manipulation...Btc will go back down....
Just like I explained and now they have dumped. Hopefully they have no more to dump. I hope they lost their butts trying to fool everyone...

Ethereum this time looks very good at above $1k and keeps increasing its share in total market valuation in little steps. Whenever cryptomarket will come out of current phenomena it seems that Ethereum this time is going straight to $2k at least. Let's wait and see where it is heading to.

Recently, I notice that the coin is the price is very well kept and practically does not react to the main drop. There is still a lot expected of buns for the project, so I think everything will be fine.

in summary, we have to bag ETH, DCR and ADA, yes, yes, ADA as,in my view, Cardano offers the most elegant solutions to all known problems traditionally associated with cryptocurrency.

ETH - The best! I bought a huge number of coins, but the most convenient in my sight is the ETH.

The system of smart contracts allows you to create unique solutions.

Now we can observe the time of the formation of new technological coins!

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2721661.0 - AES Best solution for invetors and admin.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1598571.0 -  YOCOIN.

There are many other examples. All this thanks to the ETH.

These are just simple tokens.

So what? Even bitcoin is a token, token that can reflect the balance on relevant address, that is why it  acts as coin. ETH is also token which besides his  function  of utility can reflect the balance. That is why we   call it coin. But token is also acceptable.

I think to be the number 1 cryptocurrency in the future, Ethereum should have a fixed price in fiat money (~$1000), in order to become a reliable and non-volatile active for the holders.

Yeah, low volatility is one of the main features every coin has to posses to be acceptable as a currency. As to ETH value of ~$1000 it is arguable. In my view the nessesary requirement for  #1 coin is as simple as following. Its  cap should cover all remaining crypto.

I still think BTC will rename number 1 long term, but will be used more like a gold standard / source of value - other coins will be used for payments etc.

In order to be number one it has to continue it's developing. What do you mean by "fixed price"? And who is to "fix" it?

Have a look at this and think for yourselves. What could happen to big exchanges and the whole crypto market in case of a fraud related to Tether?

Those price differences very often reflect the problems that come with using a more expensive exchange over a cheaper one. Go and try to make use of the arbitrage and most of the time (not always) you'll find out the painful reason why it's not as easy as it looks to profit from a few quick trades on two exchanges.

Ethereum will continue to grow in price because at the moment it is the second most popular and capitalized coin. It is still not a weak Toko factor that almost all promising ICOs are conducted on the Ethereum platform, which only strengthens the coin on top. Unlike BTC, the transaction speed is much faster, and what's more important is not such a large commission for transfers. The future is for ETH.
