From what I understand Ethereum will stay relevant but ETH should provide a faster and cheaper transactions first and better rewards staking. Hopefully, ETH 2 will delivers as promised otherwise most of those Dapps will look for alternatives. I wish Ethereum 2.0 launch take care of our concern.

AFAIK, those things are part of the 2.0. We have to wait until everything has launched. I'm expecting a lot and will solve the issues that many are saying but I don't want to expect a lot from it.
But I'm wishing that the result will be delivered even if not as promised but hopefully, it's near to that.

After 3 years, after many ups and downs, after many drama, Ethereum is back to $400 and 0.04 BTC for one Ethereum a few days ago. The crypto market and the top altcoins still been in their early recoveries. If you have belief, you have patience, you can hold ETH for higher price since end of 2021.

Long term investment always are safer and bring better margin of profit. It takes the end of bear market into consideration. If YFI can get the price more than $20 000, ETH can go back to $1500. Matter of time, only.

I am very positive that Ethereum will break through $ 450 in the near future. hope the US election has a good impact on ETH prices.

Right. there's 1800+ projects are running on Ethereum platform. It can't be simply undervalue for a long time specially while bitcoin following upward momentum. Ethereum 2.0 is coming so it's still profitable to invest in Eth because it's offering us just ~$400

Actually I don't believe in rising price, I guess it's take some time to check is it really working without any bugs. The price will rise in a few weeks, as it did with Bitcoin after it halved.

This scenario is possible for ETH 2.0. Remember that neither after Byzantium, nor after Constantinople, there was growth based only on the network update itself. And this is only if the 2.0 update does not compromise itself due to the presence of critical vulnerabilities in it.

They could not even manage the testnet launch properly and have seriously damaged their own reputation and the confidence that people had in their project. Ethereum might be going down the gutter soon and be replaced with better alternatives unless the developers wake up and realise the damage to their brand their delays are causing.

For example, what alternative blockchains can replace ETH in the near future? As history shows, such "alternatives" have only one promise of thousandth (10K, 100K) tps, low fees or their absence in the network itself, convenient creation of tokens and sidechains, and as a result, the same years of development and the price in the region of 100-1000 satosh.

Anybody know when PoW phase will end?

I thought that if it will never end. There's a lot of discussions about that and I remember some core ethereum developers have proposed to end the POW phase but they were seeking for an alternative way to create a hybrid chain.
There will be possibility for ethereum to keep the POW consensus and at the same time it will be running POS too.
There's not exact date about when POW will be end but I doubt if POW will be erased after the launch of ethereum 2.0

hybrid looks a very strong consensus that will be adopted by ethereum.
