Also had more than 600HUC, downloaded with node added and now 0HUC
Exactly the same here, had 4000HUC, added new node, now I got 0. -__-

2000 transactions are still there but all greyed out.
Newsflash: You all were on a fork and mined blocks all for yourself without competition from other miners.  Roll Eyes
Coin definetely needs a relaunch or if one of the longer chains is used then most of those blocks should be given away.

Newsflash: When you have 50+ connections a few hours into a release, you're probably not on a fork. When said client "misplaces" several thouasnd coins that were confirmed out of nowhere, it is indeed broken. When you try to be snarky, you look exceptionally stupid
I guess you just saw the blocks flying in, just like me. Every block mined by my shitty GPU, yea right.  Roll Eyes
Obviously the client has problems communicating with other nodes. No sync = fork. Never said client isn't broken, but don't act childish: "My coins are gone omg D:". New features, new problems. Have fun with the next scryptclone if you don't like that.

You're not going to last very long around these parts

I grant you nobody is making profit from this. I mined last 3 hours and also i lost 400 HUC. We are wasting our time because this coin is worth it!

I agree, coin looks like it has potential, otherwise most people would have turned it off hours ago.
Mines been going for hours and hours now, just trying one last time to re-sync before I go to bed.
It crashed a few times so I've left it for 10 minutes, trying again now and not crashed (yet).

-Snailbrain - Do you not KNOW if you are on the correct chain yourself?

at least for me my moves keep randomly getting reverted, so it's nearly impossible to play.

snailbrain - Appreciate the extra Node - seemed to update straight away, hopefully it will stay synced.

Any idea about the lag?

probably you are on windows.. something to do with ntfs
if you have an ssd it maybe is ok... or when blocks are targeting 1min
during testing i found that using defraggler on the datadir (when client is not running ofc) helped when blocks are fast..

Well, Mine seems to still be stuck on an old block, does this mean I'm out of sync and mining wrong blocks?

Also - deleted the debug.log - did not make any change to the lag problem.

"errors" : "WARNING: Displayed transactions may not be correct!  You may need to upgrade, or other nodes may need to upgrade."

probably delete everything in datadir except wallet.dat, and huntercoin.conf
and addnode=192.241.222.65

did this and lost all my coins...1 k

How the hell do I even get started? Granted I'm a total novice to this stuff but I don't have a clue how to set up a traditional mining set up or start with the game. I see a lot of people having trouble here but can anyone help out a beginner? I mean, I can't play the game without having coins first. But I don't know how to mine any to be able to play the game. Really excited about this coin but I can't figure out how to get started.

If you're a novice go elsewhere and mine something else. This coin is a cluster fuck.

I appreciate the warning man. Its too bad because the idea behind this coin has potential, which is why everyone is here frustrated with the launch.
Am I suppose to create a .bat file for cgminer? If so, what's the address and port I'm suppose to use?

Yeah, you'd create a bat file for your miner with the ip, port, username and password of the pool you're mining at or what you set in your config if you're solo mining.

The best way would probably be to stop mining for now.

It's broken, the dev is aware and is working on it.
