 The best way to earn money using altcoins is still to trade them in short terms. and that is thanks to the pumping nature of these altcoins which means they can suddenly go up in value with no reason and this upward movement is going to be a huge one each time it happens.
but you also have to be extra careful not to get caught up in the hype of the pump and always make sure to sell the coins you bought before the dumping comes down on your head and you lose all your money and efforts.

Investing and through bounties are the best ways I think to earn altcoin. Earning won't be in an instant with bounties because projects do usually last for months and participants will just earn the rewards at the end. On investing, it would be costy. So once you have earned alts, hold and wait for the market increase. Sell during the recovery and invest whenever the price of alts are falling in order to earn profit. Patience will be the key to bigger profit.

I don't think that following airdrops can be a solution as we know that most of all airdrops are not worth and I think maybe he can join with bounty campaign. but if he only wants to earn the token by free then airdrop is the best solution because he only needs to join, fill the task and then he won't wait too long until the token is distributed. and the good way to earn with altcoin is only by buying the altcoin in the exchanges.

If there is too much capital has so better join in the bounty. This will give you results that are quite large and with minimal costs in getting the crypto. the result of the bounty as well and many have already proved the result. nothing is easy to earn altcoin. it all depends on you, because these ways are relative to everyone. when others find it very easy to trade, but not with you, everyone has different abilities. as comfortable as you are.

You already provided most of other ways to earn altcoins and the best thing I can advise is to store those in hardwallets if you are planning to hold it for long term. If you are a type of person who love trading, then you better be updated with their promotions like what kucoin and binance did to their traders. Referral is also one the best profitable way to earn some free altcoins.

In order to have a good way on earning with altcoins, some people do all steps on gaining it. Some are participating the air drops in the PRE ICO so that it will be an additional for them in the later part of having the altcoin. Next is joining the campaigns. Some of them join all the campaigns such as twitter, facebook, instagram and others as well as the signature campaign here in bitcointalk.org. Some are translating articles as well. Some do invest as well so that they might get profit in the future once the price goes out in the market.

I would recommend using all the directions in earning crypto currency.  Trading, holding, bounty - all have their advantages. but in any case in each of these areas you need to understand the basics, and if you know the basis of each direction, then it will be easier and more interesting for you to deal with all at once.
