Because paying taxes is one of the responsibilities of being a good citizen of a country. Tax is the blood of the government. It keeps the country running smoothly. It pays for the roads and infrastructures, the government employees even healthcare for the indigent. Paying taxes only means that we are under the sovereignty of the government.

No matter how we criticize the existing taxation system, it is necessary to pay taxes on a par with. At least because failure to pay taxes is considered a serious crime in every country and, as a rule, depending on the size of non-payment, is punishable by imprisonment. Taxes helps a lot , I have seen people frowning over about how they don't want to pay any taxes and as such.
Government ensures that if you earn over a certain amount then for sure you can contribute in the making of your country. It's only if you are able to.
Taxes helps in :

    Paying the salary of government employees
    Making of roads
    Public schools
    Parks run by the government
    Maintenance fees
    Making government hospitals
    Making high schools ... The list is endless

We all use all these services at one part of the life or other therefore we can just consider it a little payment for that .
People frown how government is corrupt , it is but not entirely if it was then you woont see new projects coming up in your town or city.

It's just our responsibility to pay taxes, we shouldn't run from it because it will more or so be used for everyone out there in your country , you are indirectly helping others too through paying them , the less advantageous ones.

Also one might say government can print all the money they need , but that's not the case ..the more money a government prints the lower the value of their currency gets which genrally have adverse effects in many sectors.

I agree. Though many people define tax as a burden, but one should consider it as a way to help bridge the needs of the people and the capability of the government to fill in the gap. Without taxes, how can the government implement projects for the community? Without taxes, how can the public servants attend to the needs of their constituents? You see, these are just few instances how taxes play a vital role in our community. The tax we pay, may it be direct or indirect, is the blood of the government. Without it, I don't think it's possible to carry out their future plans for the country. That's how significant taxes are. With its necessity, it should be handled well by capable individuals.

Yes we should to paying the tax because its part to become civilized nation ,while maybe our government don't do the best job of handling our taxes, they are a very important part of our country. We are citizens of this country and therefore have a right to participate and help the country run. By getting rid of taxes, we take away our sense of belonging and community.

Taxes are mandated by the government and it is part of the law of each country to pay the appropriate taxes. Mostly this is done by legal entities who are registered in the Bureau of Internal Revenue and every transactions are all declared to the goverment so the taxes should be complied otherwise the legal entity would be charges with penalties and could result to cancellation of permits etc.

honestly when you are paying the tax, the money goes to the government which then takes that money to utilize it in the infrastructure development and make the country a better place to live in with every  day to pass us by. But also, some amount of money is also given to the enlistment of the poor the subsidies that they get are from the money that we pay. The schooling facilities that the poors' child gets comes from the taxes that we pay.

Well,, in my country there is no excuse to pay the tax even some people are very  poor situation,,although we have a doubtful while paying may tax but it must to follow the rule because is the law of my country,,so that for stress-free worry about it,it must be choice to think the positive pay while paying my tax,like as your donation toward the public good as  paying  for public services such as roads, garbage collection, sewer systems, police and fire service, traffic signals, flood control, etc. that are shared by others in my community,

I do not have any problem in paying taxes if it is used for betterment of poor people. But that is not happening in reality.

Taxation is theft. "But who will build the roads" argument is really old and dumb, people are not some stupid monkeys who can't figure out things if no one guides them, there's nothing that can not be done privately and through voluntary cooperation (which is the same as privately). Roads, military, science and so on - all of it can and is done privately around the world. Government is exactly why Bitcoin was invented - you can't trust people with power and believe that they will do as they've promised, and even well-meaning leaders do stupid mistakes that cost billions. Just like Bitcoin have decentralized economy, some day people will decentralize power to the point when every individual will be independent from others.

I believe that it was a theft because not all the governments are really using the funds for the country but it is going on their pockets and that is the reason why there are people today who are choosing cryptocurrency because in this way they can earn more income.

Actually if the government are really good at investing the money they gathered from taxes and industrialize the whole country, they can free people from taxes, but whatever, a country's annual income from taxes are set to achieve certain target and that's why they will never stop taxing us. I think the problem is ifbthe constituents of a government doesn't see where their hard earned taxes are going. I mean if the government will yake half of my salary but I won't ever have to worry about health care, education, employment and the government services are immaculate then I'll gladly pay for it.

Yes, I believe we should but the tax should not be so high at all. It should just be a dirtcheap contribution for every individual because it hurts for me to see our taxes get stolen by corrupted officials in the government who can easily take millions with some manipulation.

High or not, I do not consider anything tax from my part. My country has never helped in anyway, as rich as my country is, the corrupt politicians won't just let it develop as they keep stashing and looting funds. Facilities are hard to find and when you are well to do, you will end up having to provide that for yourself eventually. If I cannot get all the things that are necessary from my government, why should I then pay my tax ? It sounds ridiculous as this should be a mutual benefit, you pay me, and I pay you back as long as I see the value for what I am paying.

Yes, rightfully we are all supposed to pay out tax. But my question is are the government really making use of that money we are contributing to do what they are supposed to do? Well, I know you thought about that twice before coming up with any answer you might have given yourself now. To hit the point, the answer is a NO.

Tax gets misused many times like funding NASA "planet mars mission". There are more meteorite hits on Mars than on Earth but they are spending tax payers multi-million dollars on Mars missions. Wasteful government expenditure of the governments must be cancelled by the taxpayers.

Although I agree that today's taxation is theft mostly, especially in non-democratic or in half-assed democratic countries, I don't think it's possible to build a society where every individual is independent from others. The thing is that the world is big enough to contain different kinds of people. And there are evil people from our point of view who are, at the same time, not evil but righteous from their perspective. Those people are able to sacrifice everything, freedom, amenities, well-being of their children and even their very lives for a "higher purpose". Their sole aim is war until victory or death. To confront them we need a strong country with a strong military and economy which takes a strong government to rule over. Otherwise a society of independent individuals, most of whom don't want to go to war (Who wants to go to war?) will be conquered and enslaved by those barbarians.

But this "strong government" shouldn't be only strong enough to protect itself from its own people while making wage slaves of them (what we can see nowadays mostly). The government should be absolutely transparent and open. Every citizen should have a right to check where their taxes are going. Thankfully that's not that hard to implement nowadays.

Many reasons why we should pay tax in our country, we pay taxes to pay the salaries of government employee like police, firefighter, public teachers and many more government officials, they also use tax money to maintain the beauty of the park, public market, roads and support the government program. That is why paying taxes is very important.

In some countries tax percentage is more than 40%, but in reward they have all the facilities of life. There is no unemployment, no lack of education and health facilities. we also do not need to mention too much about corruption and other government crimes, as long as we remain unencumbered and intend to give a positive for the economic development of the country, then we do not need to discuss too much what they do, so far we are satisfied with the homeland us and taxes are also applied correctly, especially cryptocurrency taxes. This is more positive if we look towards building legitimacy.
