I completely agree that, a progressive country would want to have a proper tax system. Govt. doesn't collect tax from everyone but if you're earning enough that you can give some percentage of it as tax then sure you should pay it. But the challenges are proper utilization of people's tax money, there are many corrupt and money eating govt. and politicians.
