The adt 1 client synced up at last... it is staking like crazy.... should i start the transfer now or wait until after it finishes staking?

i can only imagine the stakes the exchanges get from pos coins.

I haven't ever received and POS coins with ADT, so you are probably lucky...

I didn't receive in the v2 wallet until all the v1 had staked.
I think you can send just fine though before that.

how long does the staking continue for after you first sync up after 3 or 4 months ?  it is just staking like mad 6-7 x per min.  It's like android xmas here.

Depends on how many internal addresses you have all those coins. Not sure about the spacing.

You should be aware that swapping over your coins depends on confirmations on the ADTv1 chain, and that these confirmations can only come from stake blocks. That means if you wait until all your own coins have staked and generated their POS blocks, you'll be dependent on someone else's coins staking for your swap transactions to confirm. Worst case, that means waiting another 26 days or so until all the coins in the grand swap wallet start staking. Just thought you should know.

well it was 140 at one point on the LTC market so i guess about double but really now we are full cgb code, with a lot that will be unclaimed tons of people have just forgotten about it and only had a a few , zack will have a lot of adt hopefully to take this coin quite a way. Think about it like this has a coin ever swapped entire chains before after months of downtime and being offline. ADT is now looking like a very good bet.

CGB has been rock solid also so let's factor in we just got a major upgrade.

Just a question about pos. I haven't ever really owned coins which had pos, so I don't really know what to expect. I transferred around 500k ADT to my own wallet from cryptsy at 16-12-2013 (or 12-16-2013 for you US guys). So they have been in my local wallet for around 2.5 month. I haven't received any pos coins though. Is this correct?

I had that as well. Tried it anyway, and the exchange for V2 coins went fine!

I have warned them that people are looking at taking legal action against them but it hasn't made them hurry up

ADT's POS percentage is tiny, you may have barely noticed it. But if you have coins of the type 'Mined' in your wallet, then they did generate and you should have a few percentiles more than you had before. If you moved the coins before they had a chance to stake, then the timer resets and you may not have gotten any POS.
