I am new to this forum, but i have been into crypto for more than a year. I am loosing some of my holdings due to the fall in prices of my coin and altoins. What should i do please.

You need to find out and know in advance what makes you experience losses. Just keep on holding your altcoin or coins because it will pump up again and I suggest do not cut your losses and just hold it. You should bear it and all of the people now are frustrated because of the falling price of altcoin in market. Do not give up easily and just be patient simply because the token that you hold will recover and will become more expensive.
