It's not letting to save changes.

Also not working comand for system control to save chages.

what I'm doing wrong?

You are not doing anything wrong.  You can ignore the error.

if you want to confirm the changes were made to the cgminer.conf file, type:

cat cgminer.conf

If you are going to go poking around as root in your miner, I suggest you learn some basic unix/linux commands.  If you are not careful, you can really mess up the operating system on your miner.

what I'm doing wrong?

It looks like you tried to type the " systemctl restart cgminer " while still in vim. You need to exit vim and type that command from the prompt.

I did after saving changes and confirming change, but after restart ist's get back to auto mode and decrease fan speed again.
Maybe somebody can help me via teamviewer? I would be very appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Typo

You need quotes for fan speed and fan mode #'s:
Code:
    ],
    "api-listen": true,
    "api-port": "4028",
    "api-allow": "R:0/0,W:127.0.0.1",
    "A1Fanspd": "30",
    "A1Fanmode": "0"
}

if miner resets to defaults after editing config file, you probably have a typo somewhere.

can you tell me what kind of hash rate fluctuations you get?  here is what mine look like after 15hrs runtime using 1350PLL and VID 170:

https://imgur.com/4FVy3Yj

(zencash @ suprnova)

I feel like hash rates fluctuate more now...even though temps are colder.  I dont really see a boost in performance.

can someone please post a screenshot of their admin page so i can see how their device performs compares to mine?

im really frustrated that there is no good way to gauge performance right now via hash rate.  yea, i can estimate that i am getting the profit i should from my miningpool, but i cant verify what my real hashrate speeds are and that means i can also not verify if these PLL clock increases or voltage increases are actually doing anything.

Here is an update on mine from this morning.  At one point my miner hit 80ksol/s according to this chart.

https://imgur.com/a/59Zt4xz

It almost seems like something is throttling the performance of these cards

This is what mine looks like and seems pretty good to me. I am using the current firmware which is actually the July 6th version. Drop before 11 am is when I downgraded the firmware.

Is hashrate improved on pool side? Which pool are you using?

Flypool, poolside hash rate fluctuates between 47-51 but payouts are always equal to or greater than what is expected from online calculators.

yours is a lot more stable than mine.  have you done any changes to the PLL?  are you running performance/balanced?

hmmm i am realizing right now i did switch out the powersupply to use an atx evga 850bq...maybe that has something to do with it.  i will try to switch back to the bitmain psu tonight to see if it helps stability.

What coin do you mine? How much you get per day? Is it more profitable then nicehash?
Thanks

My current thought is that Inno is running a performance monitor and actively changing the settings. Does anyone know a way to extract the "current" settings out, even if we're running in a pre-tuned profile? Maybe something out of cgminer?

Everytime I edit cgminer.config and save it and reboot the machine I'm getting errors and it wont load the config file properly. What am I doing wrong?

https://ibb.co/ifKU1y

Theres a pic of what I'm trying to add.

Then once I save it I reboot the miner and it just doesnt start.

In my testing yesterday, A9 wouldnt start with PLL @ 1450 and no voltage mod.  IF you look in miner logs, the cards are unstable.  It may work with voltage modding higher, but I just stuck with 1350 and no voltage mod for now.

If i put it higher than 1450, it would sometimes reset back to defaults and sometimes just not hash at all.

I am mining ZEC. Not sure about the payout since I have 160 kSol pointed to the same address. NH is good also but you get what others are willing to pay minus NH fees.

This is what I get
https://ibb.co/iXqu3o

I also found a file I cannot touch called 99 environment which looks to be something valuable.

I dug deeper into the PHP and found there is an access or Profile called AutoTuneMode

But after editing the cgminer.config it never wants to start up or hash

I'm switching to Miningpoolhub, wil try to mine ZCL. I did it few days ago, but luck decreased and daily income was lower than nicehash. But now ZCL luck increased, will see how it will work. Smiley

maybe somebody compared what is the optimal fan speed to keep temperature on 52-53C? I'm now running at 35%, maybe is too high?

I've been running at 35% for the past few hours and my temps are 49, 49, 50.

My main problem is card #1 has only run at 6-7 KSols all day regardless of performance setting or overclocking (the other two cards run at a decent 16-17 KSols). I'm thinking I've got a dud card. Sad

I'd contact inno and start troubleshooting if you can spare the down time, but get the ticket in asap.
