Welcome back.

Not too much going on.  I updated the dimecoin wallet to quark 0.9.2.1.

I've been running my new dime wallet as a node/pool for a couple weeks without any problems.
Thats fantastic! I may get my rigs mining again.

Whats the status of the announced multipool?

Is Ahab still involved? He hasn´t posted about Dime on his twitter account for a while.

Multipool why do we want a multipool. Won't that hurt Dime coin profit?

Multipool why do we want a multipool. Won't that hurt Dime coin profit?

A multipool switches its mining power between the most profitable coins and sells the produced coins to buy dime coins.
-> Permanent buy pressure.

Price for DIEM increased from 6 litoshi to 40 litoshi after multipool started its work, if i am not mistaken.

any news? why is such volume on cryptsy? Shocked

The only pool I see for the coin is dime.lulupon.net and it's not paying miners.. Looks like someone is premining..
Yooo newbie, I'm getting paid! Please take your fud elsewhere. Thank you.

I posted the configuration file showing it wasn't user error Mr.Wizard.. The wallet never even got a balance even though info logging showed I mined massive coins on overclocked haswell i7 extremes..

Use posted pools with caution especially with currencies that change models and hosts by the week..

I have faith that one day this forum will get threads where people won't just repeat their previous posts or what others have already stated in the same thread. Also that people will stop acting like BTC is toy-money and start holding vendors accountable. Naive? Maybe.

ok so is anyone having issues sending large amounts on my dime coin core wallet that I'm testing i removed the limit and I'm testing about a 100 million dime coin checking transactions speed

[1/18/15, 1:16:34 PM] Dmitry A:      // Limit size
                unsigned int nBytes = ::GetSerializeSize(*(CTransaction*)&wtxNew, SER_NETWORK, PROTOCOL_VERSION);
                if ((nBytes + 4000 >= MAX_STANDARD_TX_SIZE) ||
                    (wtxNew.vin.size() >= 160))
                {
                    strFailReason = _("Transaction too large");
                    return false;
                }
[1/18/15, 1:16:36 PM] Dmitry A: where
[1/18/15, 1:16:42 PM] Dmitry A: MAX_STANDARD_TX_SIZE is
[1/18/15, 1:16:49 PM] Dmitry A: /** The maximum size for transactions we're willing to relay/mine */
static const unsigned int MAX_STANDARD_TX_SIZE = 100000;

is anyone getting suspended form the network or having trouble moving close to a billion or so i haven't check the block explorers maybe i should lol

keep my name out of your bullshit I'm not asking anyone for help or donations no one donated but a handful anyways you greedy fuckers please go fuck your self I'm so sick of you guys cent pump or dime coin fan whatever you call yourself you  are a pussy melech don't try to shade me as a con artist you don't know shit about me

I meant no offense to you Ahab.  I was just pointing out to the troll "dimecoinfan", who keeps saying we are the same person, that our posts look nothing alike.

the official wallet will be dropped with no capacity limits etc...

Be careful, as I told you in a PM, this will cause a hard fork if done improperly.

There is code in all previous versions of the dimecoin wallet which will ban your IP from the network if you try to send a transaction of more than 500mil DIME.

aimed at Melch (not The Great)

Your attempt to weld together two coins, and make those into one coin which exists already will cause more harm than the other guy will.

You really need to stop, you threaten the whole project. Is this a game or what? Or are you really under the impression that you are updating the dime client?

You obviously dislike me, but really you are way out of your depth.

If people want a gentle update, take it 0.9.0, with nodes added and some more security, I will do it.

But not if this Melch fool is screwing around with it.

there is clearly some miss understatement between you two. I dont think Melch realizes what you are warning him about but at the same time melch could have exchanged/updated with proper info even thought he is claiming he swaped names around.

I haven't checked the code and compared but i agree with you that Melch's code will most likely bring errors in near future if he even missed one line.

few things i read really fast that i want to mention to Melch:

* you can't go changing tx/amount limits or you will be rejected by network.

* you should not change maturity to 1. that's inviting double spend and %51 attacks. there is a reason why it was set 260. I find it strange that your wallet is allowing this. I guess perhaps your wallet is showing matured coin at one block confirmation but the over network can't possibly see it the same. i wonder if the block explorer shows it as immature. or even show it at all.

* unsigned char pchMessageStart[4] = { 0xfe, 0xa5, 0x03, 0xdd };   I hope you have the right code. is this litecoin's one? this will cause trouble if you do not have Dimecoin unique one. double check base58.h

* merged hashMainGenesisBlock, timeMainGenesisBlock, hashMerkleRoot, and other settings in src/chainparams.cpp ... i don't know what to say to this.. except you must have used the proper info or else you would have seen all kinds of errors. or perhaps they are yet to pop.

seriously, Melch have you tried to send some few coins to some one else. Some one who has not downloaded your compiled source code? Let's say to each exchange and if yes, did they go through?
