Blockexplorer is a priority, and will arrive asap. I was waiting for the source to be uploaded to github, but I have a copy myself ... I just can't compile it (long boring story). We will probably go with this guy for the time being. He is reasonable with costs, and we pay monthly. When we code something ourselves then we are flying. http://xpm.cryptocoinexplorer.com/(an example page) Thanks to kauhywka for his contribution. You really helped out. Next thing is gambling services, hopefully a way to keep a steady income that will contribute a bit towards upkeep.

Just another message, if there are any Dime billionaires out there, get in touch! :-)
There are surprisingly few ... but Dime has only about 123 billion mined, and the mining difficulty is high enough to ensure that a glut of coins is not released on the market.
Anyone else that has worked on Dime, and is still interested, would love your feedback.

I'm a dime billionaire. 4.2 billion. Just picked them up recently. What can I do to help the community? I was thinking about starting a dime casino, or maybe a retro mmorpg, or dime arcade. I am a programming enthusiast and I could sure use a project to work on while the value of the dime recovers.

they all sound good, I guess something simple to start with, but I'm not sure what is simple in programming terms ... I thought of a Ponzi, but you need a constant string of people to invest or it dies immediately. Anything has to give the house a good edge, otherwise we're stuffed. :-) Really, if you have any ideas, get back to me.

I like the new logos and the splash screen. It looks really professional. Upgrading from 1.4 worked without issue, didn't even have to re-download the blockchain. Nice work on the build!

I'm not sure about the ponzi thing, maybe an affiliat program, or investment like you can do with just-dice.com. The casino would probably be the easiest, no re-inventing the wheel, dice, roulette, blackjack, video poker, multiplayer poker... They have already been built, just need to adapt them to dime. There may even be open source stuff out there I can use. Easy is good, but I would like a bigger challenge... Like an rpg/mmorpg or perhaps a card dueling game, where dime is the in-game currency. Would be neat if you could buy stuff or sell stuff in game and make actual dime deposits and withdrawls from within the game. It would be nice to build something a little bit unique.

If you would like to do something like that it would be appreciated. I hadn't even heard of the concepts "rpg/mmorpg" or "card dueling game". But just googled them, and they're interesting concepts. The best would be to do what inspires you and would be interesting to other people. Casinos are kind of dated now, so I understand you might prefer something more challenging. Break a leg, and if you can come up with something which adds value for development and associated costs, then you should of course be compensated.

Dimecoin is now on CryptoCoinExplorer.com http://dime.cryptocoinexplorer.comhttp://www.dime.cryptocoinexplorer.com
The CCE3 explorer is under current development with plans to add new features and the Dimecoin explorer will be updated as the CCE3 software is updated. Part of sponsorship includes a seed node. This node can be hard coded into a future version of the Dimecoin client/daemon, or used as an addnode in ones' conf file. dime.altcointech.net To use as an addnode: addnode=dime.altcointech.net Because of the way Cloudflare works, one cannot use the direct dime.cryptocoinexplorer.com address as an addnode.

I don't think there is a Mac wallet anymore, Zeb, but there was at one point. I put it as "under development" because I guess it will reappear. I'm shit at code, but you can compile it from the source. Get back in touch over at Twitter, (Cent Dump).

Dimecoin now has it's own page on http://coinwik.org a wikipedia listing all the existing alt coins to help us quickly find facts and links about them. http://coinwik.org/DimecoinThis is a wiki page so if you know of other facts and links that can be added to the page, let us know or you can update the page yourself.

problem is that the developer used a binary version of bitcoin, which makes compiling in linux hard if your terminal has been updated (Berkeley DB). Not sure if that applies to Mac, but it probably does (Mac is linux based, I think). There was a guy a page or so back that was offering help with games for Dime (Mr Dime), maybe shoot him a PM? That woud be helping Dime. :-) Re: Coinedup It puzzles me that you can't make an order on the exchange with any currency if it exceeds 10 million. Basically, you can buy 0.2 LTC worth of Dime or COL at a time.
