Did you even attempt to read the coin details?  Nothing is gain from coin for x amount of blocks.  So you have plenty of time.

Adding to that: if you build the thing yourself, check the dependencies... The common bunch applies. Qt4, libboost, gmp (odd one out), automake, etc etc. If needed, google your error message, install missing packages, lather, rinse, repeat.

Yes we are mining, and no, no worries, we're at 40 blocks of 500, so you can relax for another 2 hours. That is, until one or two of the big guns get working.

So at this point we can only mine off one machine, correct?  Thanks for all of your hard word btw devs.  I know it isn't easy.  We're behind you though. Smiley

No, he released an external miner... if you have multiple machines point it to whatever IP you're running the wallet on

So those who could solo mine at launch get rewarded 0, while everyone can prep their botnets and aws farms for block 1152, at which point solo mining will become fruitless.  What fun times.

Profit-Switching Pool w/ Vardiff -> http://hashco.ws  Optionally keep the alts we mine or auto-trade for BTC. In addition can be paid out in any of: 365, AC, BC,  BTC, C2, CINNI, COMM, FAC, HBN, MINT, PMC, QRK, RDD, WC, XBC

Looks like there are many ways to define a "fair launch"  Roll Eyes

I must admit though the one thing that would have made this launch a bit smoother is if he built all binaries earlier today and uploaded to git same time as the included source.

Getting this error when compiling on ubuntu:

alert.cpp:6:53: fatal error: boost/algorithm/string/classification.hpp: No such file or directory
 #include <boost/algorithm/string/classification.hpp>

Anyone?

Seems like you don't have boost-libs installed. I'm on Arch. I think it is something like 'sudo apt-get install lib-boost-all-dev' on ubuntu.
