Seriously Gatra, if you have time to come in the forum, why not take even just 30 sec to post something here? And some time to contact Poloniex to resolve the frozen wallet issue?

I remember that the "maintenance" began the same time as the halvening, the price could be much higher now without that! Poloniex ruined everything, and now miners are earning even less than the half of what they got before the halvening, and they are even unable to cash out since months!

And Gatra is not doing anything to solve this problem. Do not count on him for anything, he abandoned Riecoin since long. If not, then prove it by showing some activity man.

You can blame Poloniex wallet issues on the same person who has been attacking Riecoin for years.  Sad

With the amount of money said attacker has made from Riecoin over the years he could easily list RIC on a number of good exchanges.

It's my assumption that said attacker, for whatever reason does not want RIC to succeed as it would be the end of his playground.

That being said, Riecoin is in a very interesting position now that more coins are looking towards ASIC resistance and we see many CPU coins in development.

I think gatra's continued involvement would certainly see RIC succeed in the long term but now is not the time to stay idle.

Hey folks,

I've previously mined RIC when it first launched and for a few months last year.  I still love the idea of it and saw this thread and wondered if I could help.

I currently work as CTO for an ICO.  We launched our own digital currency exchange (Zapple.com).  We're about ready to extend it and are adding (to our own token and ETH) BTC, BCH, LTC and DASH major currencies in the next couple of weeks as well as a few smaller coins.  I'd happily look at adding RIC paired against BTC (or one of the other majors) if people are interested.  Not looking at charging anything - we benefit with more coins listed and I always liked RIC and always had problems exchanging it so happy to help if I can.  We are looking at adding tether and fiat but not immediately (USDT probably next month and fiat Q4).

I just wanted to gauge interest as to whether an additional exchange listing would be of any use - the benefit is there's somewhere for RIC users to trade it, the downside is we're not going to have any big volume to bring in people who aren't aware of RIC and to get them to start trading it.

Thanks,

Guy

Hey Guy,
long time no see, looks like you've been busy. All you need to do is read 3 pages of this board to know that RIC needs an exchange.

I think any exchange that adds RIC will see significant volume.

Are you accepting registrations now?

Yes, and I'm happy to deal with getting it all going with no formal submission - I've just got to get a RIC node up and synced to the network.

I can aim for this to be live paired against BTC by the end of the week.  I could pair against any of the other bases but I have a feeling BTC will be best for this.

Thank you!

At least the last time I checked, RIC nodes tend to get DDoS'd as soon as they come online, if they connect to all nodes out there.  ziiip occasionally posts a list of "safe" nodes to connect to.  (Of course, you've probably also got great ddos protection if you're setting up an exchange, so this may be unnecessary).  I haven't verified it recently, since I don't want to get my neighborhood kicked off the internet again for several hours.

Don't hesitate to reach out if you have questions.

Generally most nodes are okay as long as you don't end up on the node list here https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ric/#!network
I believe the explorer node is 178.33.109.17, so as long as you don't connect to it, you should stay off the node list.

Some current "good" nodes
Code:

37.59.143.10

Yes you should be able to sign-up but there may be on/off maintenance in some areas for next few days as we scale up beyond just trading our own token.  If you want to test with testnet coins there's also https://dev.zapple.com

I'll drop you a PM regards nodes Smiley

Brief update - node is syncing and we're up to Jan 2018 at the moment.  Hopefully I'll have RIC integrated today and on our test environment with a plan to go-live on Friday.

Integration is working and tested from one of our development environments with RIC.  We just populated probably the largest RIC block in terms of transaction volume in quite a while (https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ric/block.dws?895714.htm)

I'll be pushing this out tomorrow / Friday to production and announce here.

I just tried a quick sign-up on production site and seems to work here.  The new release which includes RIC has a few other changes that may resolve this issue, but do you get a timeout every single time you try to sign-up?  If so which browser.

Thanks,

Guy

Thank you so much! This exchange will definitely get all the RICBTC trading volumns on Poloniex. This is definitely a win-win situation.

Besides poloniex, what exchanges can I negotiate with Riecoin? In Poloniex it seems that this is disabled the deposit and withdrawal of Riecoin

At present, the price of Riecoin is far higher than the lowest price of history, according to the current market, prices are estimated to fall again.

RIC is now live on Zapple.com.

The site should be working - if anybody has any particular problems please let me know - either a direct message here or via a support request on Zapple's website and I'll look straight into it for you.  Hopefully this will now give everyone an opportunity to have somewhere to trade RIC.

Thanks,

Guy

Awesome Guytp, thank you! I am going to sign up and trade there as soon as people are sharing some good feedbacks! (bonus if price increases) And I wish you success for your exchange! Please never ever freeze any wallet or account without reason, and keep being in contact with the Riecoin community  Smiley

And with the XPoolX one, there will be 2 available ways to trade Riecoin, nice!

Edit: What are the minimum trades and withdrawal amounts and their fees?
