karmacoin.info is very slow, coins are there they just take forever to process.
Haha, I mined and waited patiently almost three hours without seeing any profit. Maybe I should train my patience even more because now I am finally seeing some income in my account.

That hashrate -meter in that pool is really frenzy though. Can't count on that. It fluctuates between 200khash/s and 1200khash/s all the time. Hashrate @ cgminer is 795 khash/s.

So, either we, as a community, band together all of our hash into one megapool that can poach these high value blocks faster, and better than these mystery pools, or else we just lose.

simple choice, and it won't happen, what with free will and all...

therefore the people out there with 1000+ card rigs control the market, they manipulate the prices on exchanges putting up massive buy/sell walls so they buy at 3 and sell at 4, and no one else has enough BTC/hash/focus to be able to beat them at this game, therefore we will always lose.

get used to it, with this unregulated bullshit it's handing money over to criminals looking to abuse the system for their own advantage. if we're not all united and IMMEDIATELY put a stop to it (ie. oh they're scamming all the 1mil+ blocks that no one else can get?, INSTA hard fork, no questions asked) then we're all accessories in this criminal behaviour.

how anyone could stand by and just "hope for the best, it's karma afterall!" are delusional sheep. you're aiding criminals. good luck with that.

The problem is not with the site
The problem is with Chrome

How do you explain i can do it in Chrome when you can't and we have different versions???

If they own Chrome then yes you can ask them to fix it but otherwise I guess you have to talk with Chrome aka Google!

bhahah sell karma at this cheap prices?Huh

the only reason the price is stable there is because people are holding their coins. they are smart. and only silly traders are trying to sell high and buy low.

This coin is fair. non premined. distributed around. Hard working Dev. Involved pool owners. And active reddit/twitter/facebook.

so yeah. the value of it rise. Halving just around the corner

Yep, mined with 8000kH/s on http://pool.karmacoin.info/ and received about $25 worth of Karmacoin when I expected at least double that.  *sigh*, back to Dogecoin for now.

What is this "Bitcoin" of which you speak???

From the Dev:

Several members of the community wrote about how the Karmacoin rewards needed to be changed.  We are listening, and we are going to change the way the rewards work to make sure the large multi-miners cannot get an advantage in the rewards they get.

This change will increase the value of the coin as well because the reward payouts will be more predictable and will remove an exploit that large-blackhat miners can take advantage of.  The coin inflation, total coins, planned coin release flow, etc will not change at all.  Estimated payouts in coinwarz, pools, coinmarketcap.com. etc will also not need to be changed as the estimates were based on the same numbers used in the new rewards program.

We will be posting a new version of the wallet shortly to implement the new rewards.

Currently, if someone has a large amount of hashpower (i.e. 1GH of mining capability) relative to the entire network, they can exploit the system by only mining when they determine the next block will have a large payout.  This issue is related to the way the random payouts work.  The random payout algorithm is the same that DOGE uses, only because DOGE's network is larger, the issue is not seen as readily with DOGE.  See http://www.reddit.com/r/dogemining/comments/1x1p76/something_is_rotten_in_the_state_of_doge_mining/ for more details.

The new rewards will work as following:

0-10,000 blocks => 10,000 + 1,000,000 bonus
10,000-25,000 blocks => 10,000 + 750,000 bonus
25,000-50,000 blocks => 10,000 + 500,0000 bonus
50,000-100,000 blocks => 10,000 + 250,000 bonus
100,000-200,000 blocks => 10,000 + 100,000 bonus
200,000-300,000 blocks => 10,000 + 25,000 bonus
300,000-400,000 blocks => 10,000 + 10,000 bonus
500,000+ blocks => 10,000 coins
