wow what happened with the 30+ btc buy support at 3 sat while I was asleep?

some one got weak hands and dump from 4 to 3 satoshi 20+ btc. It was very good for buyers who get karma at this price of 3 satoshi and very bad for the dumpers. You see in few days extremely rise of karma. With new payouts, miners will not get so much karma anymore and the price will rise. Only a fool would sell now at 3/4 satoshi if the price is double in the week or two.

Yep, in less then an hour there is a 30 BTC bid back on 3 satoshi. now has more potential then DOGE as it is less vulnerable to the profit dump pools.

except it does not have an android app wallet, or an iphone app wallet, these need be addressed to have more potential than doge, sorry but its true

launched February 4th. It would be a record by 3 months if an android wallet was already released.

Guys let`s give some time for the devs. We caused so much pressure about the rewards on them. I guess they want to sleep and eat as well.... They are amazing. We, the community, shall have the site running soon. I am sure the mobile wallets and additional apps will arrive. But there is something that we must do. We can not rely only on devs. Go to your forums, use your social accounts, do whatever you can to spread the Karma. Mining is not enough. Promote the coin and attract more miners. This is our part.

As a pool operator, I've worked with quite a few devs on various coins... and I have to say that the KarmaCoin devs have been some of the most open and responsive guys I've dealt with.  They know that the community makes the coin, and they are listening!  Huge kudos (and karma  Grin) to them for making changes when necessary.

I'll be posting up a news item on our home page with the wallet download as well as sending an email note out to our 1000+ registered users to help get this wallet upgrade out as smoothly as possible.

Long live KarmaCoin!

Just download the new client and run it instead of the old version.  Don't touch any of your data files!

so upgrade by block 29000, it's 22800 right now... that's still a ways away, and will see another reward slice too... wish there was some sort of option for those that want to mine on a pool that's running the new update right NOW... but i don't see how that's technically feasible from what i know about hard-working a coin at a specific block...

Even when a pool upgrades their wallet, the reward logic won't change until 29,000.  If a pool tried to submit a fixed-reward block right now, the rest of the network would just reject it.

Long live KarmaCoin!

I agree, greed is what ultimately ends up making a coin unpopular and generosity + working to make a coin a success is what makes it successful.

you reap what you sow. This is the concept of Karma at its most basic level.

I read recently that sri lanka has almost ran out of physical coins because people give them as offerings at temples so the government is now pushing for temples and churches to accept digital forms of payment...

I would love to see a crypto currency like Karmacoin fill that gap... there are literally billions of people around the world who donate coins on a weekly basis... if we could tap into that market.. not only would we be spreading the use of cryptos far and wide but we would also be helping to spread a positive message about crypo currency and how it can change the world from the ground up...

I am really sold on the idea of a coin that promotes itself through giving.
Bitcoin Jesus (Rodger veer) and Bitcoin Guru (Gavin Andreeson) were instrumental in promoting Bitcoin in the early days and they did it through simply giving away small amounts to everyone they could. They may well have given away most of their coins but they are still very wealthy because the price if BTC has skyrocketed as a result of increased adoption.

read more about the physical coin problem here.. and you will begin to see how Karma coin could actually fill a worldwide need..
