I've given up on updating myself on Project Restart but it does appear there is hope for a June restart, and working with the police (who insist on the neutral venues).

@toke @DeathAngel now you know how my life feels like. Had a long career where weekends didn't mean anything so when I moved to freelance and remote work from home 4 years ago, I had to really adjust to school and weekends. And then now everyone's home since end of Feb, they're feeling crazy but I'm back to "every day is the same"! If not for my youngest and his schedule, I actually wouldn't know anything haha.

The Premier League and Football League have been given the go-ahead by the Government to accelerate plans to complete their seasons.

The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport have released phase two of their 'elite sport returning to training guidance' which enables competitive and close-contact training.

Seems like the football could return even sooner. June 20th will probably be the more likely date though than anything sooner.

Looks like we'll probably have more information on Thursday/Friday as a pretty big meeting is taking place. Maybe they'll announce the date of the restart then. They're also discussing the TV rights and what to do about refunds. What actually happens with that will be interesting sand whether the TV companies are ok with whatever they vote on.

The good news keeps coming, now contact training has been given the go ahead by the UK government. Finally we can see that the possibility of anything other than completing the season has a very low probability. I can’t wait to get this show back on the road & we can see Liverpool crowned as champions

Breaking news boys and girls! First shared by LFC_Bitcoin on the EPL thread but all clubs -- yes, including Watford -- have all agreed to resume contact training after the government's go ahead. June 12 agreed as too soon, no date will be determined but seems June is still very much in the offer if we see another unanimous vote next week maybe?

Finally! After La Liga, EPL is second most awaited tournament for me. Serie A also announced about return date. So, June and July will be full of football. It had to be time of Euro 2020, but instead we will watch top club football. Now we only have to wait until UEFA will announce about return dates of Champions and Europa league.
I just logged into my Superbru account after few months break, but obviously you can't leave predictions yet, because schedule wasn't announced yet.

So apparently, after the opening games, there will be no 2 games played at the same time. Plus, there will even be some weeks where there will be a game played every night! Apparently, this is to reduce the losses for the TV rights guys, so they get more eyeballs on every game.

So. Ready for EPL bingeing guys?

You could last week unless they changed it as I did mine. They might have reshuffled the fixtures of something though.

All 92 remaining matches in the Premier League will be broadcast; some of which will be shown live on the BBC for the first time.

Sky Sports will broadcast 64 of the 92 Premier League games live. They will make 25 of those matches available free-to-air.

BT Sport, the other main broadcaster, will show 20 of the games. The company will also be offering customers a further bill credit to the value of 50% of their BT Sport monthly subscription.

BBC and Amazon Prime both have four live matches each.

It's a shame they didn't let something like Amazon stream them all, or just show them all on BBC/Iplayer. I wonder if Sky will let people livestream their free games.

Are they playing games over 3'o clock on Saturdays? Hopefully they are and this calls for the 3PM blackout to be scrapped, especially if they're going to be showing all the games. They really need to start showing all the games in the UK. Their revenues will only go up if they do.

I think I saw some initial odds placed on some of those games and then they were taken down (oddschecker) so I guess even the bookies don't know yet but yeah the tv rights people really need to make some concessions on this -- if they're getting every game maximum exposure, they really ought to think long term and let this happen. It makes money sense to all of us, simply can't understand why it wouldn't to them.
