next matchweek kinda sucks, doesn't it? one match per day until Wednesday...any reason why the EPL did this? trying to give the teams a small break perhaps?

I think I prefer one game a day, or certainly prefer it when they're not over-lapping so you can watch what games you want with no overlap.

I wonder if Liverpool will change things up now and give some usually benched players a game or carry on as usual.

perfect time to start experimenting with lineups, tactics, and also give the entire squad plenty of minutes in the next 7 games...would like to see the youngsters playing together again (Elliott, Curtis, Minamino, van den Berg), i think the last time we saw them was against Aston Villa (5-0 Villa)

But do they want to risk doing this and lose a load of games? Since they can make 5 subs now they should probably bench them and bring them on late-ish in the game if they're winning comfortably.

it's just a better-balanced team. Current Liverpool team is well balanced on all position. I think Gerrard & Suarez > Firminho & Salah (just my opinion) I would always prefer first duo to have
in the team. Of course, now they have a Klopp, which is probably a crucial advantage.

I was just thinking how Gerrard never left LFC and really wanted an EPL title at his boyhood club.  Would've been nice to see it.

Anyway I parlayed Aston Villa vs Wolves under 3.5 goals and the double chance for Southampton at 2.04ish.

Wolves are a much better team, Villa are crap aren’t they to be honest but in our pool I went for Villa to win 2-1 with the idea that somehow they might find the fight from somewhere to try & not get relegated.

Yeah that's correct and a three points for me was really nice 🤪
I knew this could be a low scoring match and when Dendoncker scored then I thought we may see one more goal since there were a lot of time left. I was fearing Villa to score since they had the most ball possession and were attacking the defense of Wolves but it's good that nothing happened and we ended with a score of 0 - 1.

Norwich and Aston Villa both already gone for me as we have some good fight for third sport for me Bournemouth is favourite for going down but still any result can happen as every team want to stay in Premier League and use all resources for this next few matches are really tough for both west ham and bournemouth watfor is going with some advantage.

Well, 1 exact (chelski), 1 result (Wolves) and 1 close (Saints) ain't so bad considering two of those were upsets. Our boy Ings got the brace but the score didn't hold or I would have gotten an exact score.

Took a parlay on these results but had a hedge on a Watford draw except they just fizzled.

30% of people backed Sunderland at Watford? Wow, I honestly thought this was one of the surprises of the season.

I'd have understood the draw pick, but I had Watford as strong favorites in this one. They are not as bad as their results are, but most of all they really could not afford to lose this one.

They did not have a single shot on target at the end so definitely a deserved loss. Well played, whoever chose it.
