The main PL pool grew by about ten each year, and it was about 20 extra last year probably because on what was on offer with the free shirt etc. I suspect we'll get about 40 this year unless there's a surge of late sign-ups. I would like to get 50 though to match last year and just because that makes the pot a a nice 0.2 to divvy out.

I think we will hit the 50 again this year,I think many persons are on vacation right now and when they will be back probably they will join,they will be one or two week late but that isn't that big of an obstacle as there is room for improvement during the rest of the 36 remaining games.If they already are playing on another pool it is better as their results will come over to this pool.

Well they'll be leaving it late as the first game is on Friday. I'm sure we'll get a few late joiners but probably not 15+. Joining a few rounds late doesn't really matter but most won't want to play at a disadvantage. As I said before, If anyone is thinking/wanting to join the pool but can't pay just yet I can give you up until the end of the month to do so. Just PM me.

I'll be honest Hilariousandco usually sends me a message when this is about to start each year, and I've refrained the last few due to being absolutely awful at remembering to put in the predictions. However, Hilariousandco has twisted my arm , and convinced me to join again this year. I'm actually quite excited about getting one result bang on this year, and then dipping into irrelevancy the rest of the weeks. It's a pleasure lads.

I'm also terrible at remembering to do the Super6 competition Sky runs, and that's free to enter each week!

Superbru will send you like tons of email as reminder if you havent put in your predictions for the following weeks. Well if you connect your mailbox to your phone then the notification will pop up on it so you probably wont miss it. Anyway the first match is on Friday so dont forget to put in yours for this week.

Actually I remember them from last seasons so they are definitely now new:) Welcome back, I seem to remember you were missing for a while because of life and work? It happens to all of us, so we're happy to have you back.

 I have finished choosing my predictions and I hope to get good points.
 Tomorrow will be the first match in the EPL between Arsenal and brentford, It would be good to get the goal early in the game by Arsenal

I like to make my predictions as late as possible a preferrebly an hour before a match so I can look at the lineup and see if there is important players not playing.
But making predictions days before a match could work because you could forget to put predictions on just you better not lock it as you can do some changes before the start of the round.
I think this time I will do my initial predictions before and will change it when I have time or remember them.sometimes those midweek games or Friday games makes an unpleasant surprises if you didn't make a single prediction.

Yeah, its a good idea. It's probably the best way of doing it, but I'm absolutely awful for remembering every game that goes on. I only really follow a couple of teams in the leagues, mainly Liverpool, and the welsh teams in the lower leagues. Its not ideal that I'm predicting in advance, but we will see how it goes.

Realistically, you could probably consider my entry as a donation , because its extremely unlikely that I remember to update them frequently, obviously I'm going into this with the aim to win that pot, and not an actual donation, but as with any betting man, I'm probably kidding myself.

I'm thinking Brentford will surprise a lot of people in this match. I can't even remember my prediction right now, but I think I did lean for a Arsenal win, but I can see Brentford stealing some points here.

I know it is just the first game and my team is still in turmoil this year,,, with no idea about what might happen before the games start but personally, I just want to enjoy football again. Such a difficult year at home and at work and this forum and the discussions and the awesome promos at Sportsbet are the highlights.

So the first game is tonight and then a load more tomorrow so not long left if you want to play. If you're thinking of playing just sign up to superbru and make sure your scores are in as you can join the league later and all your scores will carry over. If you're wanting to play but can only pay later I'll give people up to the end of the month to do so, just PM me. Remember, if 50 people join there will be 0.2 in the pot and I'll probably make first place 0.1.
