It is a 50 USD free bet and I had set my well thought out on a 5 combo.
The odds would have been great but unfortunately in the penultimate game something happened that I had not expected... well as so often. It was close

I see so it was changed to $50 instead of 5 6mbtc freebets. Makes sense though as btc price currently is at the ATH but Steve gave me 6 mbtc freebets when I won on round 3, back then btc price was somewhere around $10,500 so it was more than $50 back then

I put it on Dynamo Kiev ML and managed to win back more than 0.005 btc  . So yeah I got all my entire buy in for this tournament back already even if I dont make it to top ten.

I'm still looking forward to my first yellow cap as well too, It just keeps eluding me week in, week out... but If not winning the yellow cap is worth it takes for to finish amongst the top 3, then I'd rather not win it, Lol

do not be like that, your are still top 10, I am hoovering around position 45 from the beginning, and still not missing rounds, think that have not any position within top10 in a round
and last two rounds were a bit better, but far from any success in guessing exact scores

Superbru is actually sending mail after rounds where you were better than average, and I just found out that few rounds ago, since all my rounds before that were lower than average

but, nevertheless, it is just a game, I change my expectations from top 5 in the beginning, to be within better half till the end, not easy, but not impossible, currently on 36th

You should keep going.I once won the yellow cap together with another member and since then my motivation has been up and so the places on the leaderboard coming from 49 to 26-29 places lately.I am still hopeful so you should be too as there are plenty of games to be played and emotions to be felt.

I really hope Liverpool come back and start winning the matches from the next round. There are two consecutive home loses, 10 points behind from the top team on the table, poor defense, forwards are not in their best shapes. There are many things wrong with the team right now.

The lack of motivation in the pool is temporary, I am well aware of it and I know one of two good round will bring me back but it hurts the way boys are performing lately.

City have a game in hand as well which they'll be playing at the end of this round on the 17th. Liverpool's next game is against Leicester away and that could be tough for them but Leicester have bene hit and miss recently. Vardy should be back now and starting as he played the last 30 mins in their last game. I will go for a win as usual no matter who plays in the final XI from both teams. It will be a very close match for sure so my preference will be 1 - 2 or 0 - 1. I think there are still plenty of matches left so maybe we cannot say that we are done yet. Few slips from the top teams, and few good rounds might give our confidence back.

Yup.  I’d also be comfy betting Liverpool win to nil if the line is good.  City and Leicester are worlds apart in how they play.  And I don’t think Rodgers would be playing his squad to press as hard as Pep does his.  It could even be a boring game.  I feel like it’s 0 - 1 for LFC.

News broke today that Klopp’s Mother died, he can’t go to the funeral as Germany has banned UK arrivals due to covid. Terrible news, hopefully Klopp is OK & the players sort their form out for their manager, he deserves it.

Really, it is sad news, and I hope that this does not affect the klopp’s and the Liverpool FC and the club's return to many victories and competition for the title.

He should go... I feel so bad, I remember a past interview once during covid where he said the only things he worries about in life was the health of his parents. Typical wholesome guy. Let him grieve, and let the boys win everything for him. They owe it to him.

Im not sure if this will make you feel better but I was on top 5 for few early weeks then I keep on sliding down the line ( IIRC I was on 2nd position and was trying to close my gap to Tomahawk's point ) and now Im on 20th, it is sucks.

My point is apart from Tomahawk , everyone has been really inconsistent but you know that you dont have to get into top ten. You just need to win the Yellow cap and aim for the freebets to make up for it. As long as you get back your buy in fee for the pool then its good enough

I think Germany is a great country and they should absolutely make an exception for one of their respected citizens to allow him to take place to his mother funeral.It is out of my scope of understanding how can someone with Klopp status to miss this funeral.The goverment of Germany should act immediately and make an exception in my opinion.
